We tackled All Black great Christian Cullen and asked him a few personal questions regarding his prolific rugby career. 58 All Black Tests, 46 Test Tries including scoring 18 tries for NZ during the HK Sevens Tournament in 1996 where we talked about his legendary breakout from his own in-goal against Fiji in the final.

What memories. As a kid, I remember hearing our whole street go crazy every time Cullen scored a try. I would watch in awe as he broke ankles with speed and agility that was just simply unmatched. Big RESPECT to you sir

I remember when I was young watching that try when Zinzan through that cut out pass that put Cullen in the Gap, probably one of my favourite trys ever. He is at full pace weaving side to side turning Gregan inside out so much that he ends up tripping up over himself, and Cullen just pushes him in the face to rub it in, haha. Greatest All Black back of all time!

Everyone can thank Robbie Deans for dropping Cullen for his crusaders love children Blair and MacDonald . Then when Blair got injured they called up 19 year old Ben Atiga instead for 6mins of WC rugby. Cullen wasn't injured still far the best fullback in NZ. By the players accounts Deans dropped Umanga when he was fit for the SF in favour of MacDonald as well.

Christian Cullen is the ONLY player ever to play his final National provincial Rugby game and get subbed off to a standing ovation, the ref even called time while he went off, never have or will you ever see that in the history of rugby again!

Christian Cullen raised the bar for a fullback, his speed,skill and ability to read a game was way before his time. He had a great presence of mind and could keep a cool head under pressure. Even now in 2011 I still think he is better than any other fullback that is currently playing the game. Christian you were a pleasure to watch. From a Bok supporter.

I never get tired of watching any replays of Cullen 'carving up'.. that sort of speed and power was a gift that we wont see again .. I see that alot of the AB players have written books, I just read Corey Janes 'Winging it' maybe Cullen could do the same. I sure he would tell a true story and I for would read it! I also loathe and detest John Mitchell.

funny story: He was playing Maori vs Canada in Toronto a bunch of years ago. And at that time, the guy was my idol, still is. So I'm at the game. He's on the sidelines. And we're at a small venue because its Canada. Rugby isn't as popular as it once was. So I'm about 30 yards from the guy. no one around. shocking. And I was too chicken to intro myself. story of my life. Cullen is a great player, great eye for the game, great heart. (Same with Tana).You can see it when you watch him.
