The Habana try is special to me for a couple of reasons: 1. Habana received the kick-off after he himself had just scored an excellent try in the corner. 2. I watched it live from Australia at 02:00am and woke the whole house up when he scored.

As a South African I was in awe of him as well - he was exactly the kind of player that never would have been picked for the Springboks. Size was everything and he was on the "average" side sizewize. Back in the day, big players were put on the wing and at fullback, but he regularly made South African super rugby teams and the Boks look useless. The speed, agility and that swerve he had - the man was awesome.

Man it was awesome being a teenager in Wellington as Cullen burst on to the scene. Then Jonah signed for the 'Canes and together with Tana we had our magic back three. Such a great time, we grew up with them, they were peaking during our party years. We would see them around town. Especially Jonah. He would pull up to the video game parlour in his GTR.. All the kids would follow him as he played all the games he wanted then he would get like $200 worth of tokens and hand them out before he left. And when he left all the kids would scream to him to "blast those sounds Jonah!!"... He had an insane (record breaking I think) sound system in his car... He'd rev the engine then put on some gangsta shit and OMG the 5 story building was shaking it was so loud! He'd burn off and everyone that was left there, all the kids, the adults that gravitated in, everybody - was like DAYM!!!! GO JONAH!!

One of the great individual tries i have seen recently , was by Chile's fly half Rodrigo Fernandez, during their 1st WC qualification match against the USA on July 9th this year. In pouring rain with mud up to the players boot laces , he took the ball about 70 yards out then proceeded to absolutely humiliate the USA, by scorching through over half the US team and scoring. If you do another video of individual tries , you have to include this absolute corker
