To save you tons of heartbreak, I wouldn't suggest dating unless you're ready for marriage. Not the idea of marriage or the benefits but honoring God and sticking it out for life. Dating is navigating through a world where everyone's motive for dating is different. Some people are just looking for a pillow talk and sex buddy while they want to continue to live single and come and go while others want a relationship and marriage. Find someone who has the same values

You do have to get to know someone and get confirmation from God before throwing a ring on it, dating is needed in todays time considering everyone’s toxic agendas, but to stick to the commandments God has given us regarding marriage is important especially when dating to marry. I believe the heart we have for God matters most, looks can be deceiving and can take us places God never intended us. Focus on the heart and spirit of the person God has for you. We can get caught up on appearances, materialistic things people have, titles, we forgot if they even follow Christ, make sure you witness if the person has the fruits of the spirit and that they hold the qualities of a Proverbs 31 woman.
