Wow, I swear, I stopped my studying to worship God for a few minutes and right when I almost closed KZbin something made me want to click on this video. The minute you spoke about the book 'The power of a praying woman' and randomly opened to that chapter (Lord show me how to take control of my mind)... God spoke to me. Ive been praying repeatedly day & night for God to help me stop thinking about pain from the past that I still hold on to. Ive been living a vicious circle with my thoughts and i can't stop. Thank you for this video, God is using you as a tool to speak to others. I am definitely getting that book! And I also read Jesus' calling by Sarah every morning. A great book that I also recommend.

I'm only 15 and its hard to read the bible sometimes because sometime the authours or even Jesus himself says something so deep and speaks in riddles and sometimes I find it hard to understand and looking it up online has so many dissenting opinions its hard to know which is right. I want to ask my mom but shes been very busy lately with her online classes and work and I don't have a lot of Christian friends( or any really close friendships) it also hard for me to pray in groups because of the voices around me are distracting but I do love the praise and worship of a group setting( me and a few other kids pray every morning before school In a hallway near a gym.) I rarely pray out loud, usually only in my head, idk why

Everyday when I open my eyes I say "Good morning Lord. Thank you for this new day. Help me remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that You and I together cannot handle. Amen" During the day when I find myself in a stressful situation I repeat the same prayer. But if the stress is too much. I chant "Not my will but Yours" over and over and over until the stress eases. And it does And say "Thank you God" when things work out, no matter how small and I mean even the minutest of things. I surround myself with positive people and because humans are humans and we also have negativity in our DNA I turn the topic round to something pleasant or take it as a lesson when conversations start turning nasty. I love reading gratitude quotes. I have never been good at memorizing bible verses (that doesn't bother me) I admire people who do. My best verses are about faith (mustard seed/ saying to that mountain move/trusting in God/clothed birds and not worrying) My favorite parts in the bible. Prov 3:27-28 (my interpretation- if you are in a position to help, help now. Not tomorrow). My second, Rom 14:1-23 (my interpretation - do not be the judge of what is right or wrong leave that to God.)

I pray Jeremiah 29:11 all the time. It def carries me through some tough times. I think another Christian girl must have is Christian friends. I'm going through a period where I'm spending less time with my friends who aren't believers and really trying to seek God, but it can be lonely at times. I'm believing God for awesome sisters in Christ who can support me in my walk with God and vice versa.

about 6-7 yrs ago, the holy spirit put on my heart to suggest that my father & I pray together every other day. it turned into bible study & prayer (still the 2 of us) about 3-4 yrs ago. it's done wonders. until I marry, my father is my cover. so, I recommend having a consistent prayer partner; whether it's every day, every other day or certain day(s) of the week.

I've started to be more intentional about my time with God on a daily basis. At least 10 minutes before bed along with at least one sermon while I start my day. This video is super helpful as I am newly starting on my relationship with the Lord. I'm still learning where each book is in the Bible and have just started a study plan where I hear a sermon and read the book when it's done for my own understanding. Also, I've checked out the ChaseGodTV channel on KZbin that suggests a reading plan for new believers like me.

I am currently reading 'Uninvited' and I can only read a chapter or two at a time, because it's that good. The words are so convicting, as many of the scenarios/situations within the book hit home. I have my highlighter near each time I read it, because there are so many gems in it that I want to be able to go back and quickly read. I love it!

Definitely great tips! I would like to add that when I started my journey, I prayed specific prayers to help develop me as a believer in Christ. Praying specifically for wisdom, protection, discernment, and guidance. Asking in prayer is very important. When you began your walk, you are excited and hungry for the Lord. You begin to take in everything that is given to you, even the not-so-good stuff. As a baby in Christ, depending on God wholeheartedly for your development and maturity in Christ is so important. Pray, fast, and study. Loved this!

Thank you for being bold with your Christian belief. Over the years I realize being a Christian is more than just a belief, it's the most important relation ship that we all need. In the past I have found that to be a struggle of mine but the more I read the bible, pray, serve the Lord, and worship him more it has become natural for me to share the word of God with others. I know you said that you don't watch TV a lot but if you would like a Christian show I recommend the Harvest Show. I don't have cable, I have an antena so for me it's on the channel WHME but it's also on cable. Your videos are so helpful! I've only watched 2 so far but I love them☺

I was introduced to the app First5. It is an awesome daily devotional. You 2 memory verses are both my favorite. Jer 29:11, I say it all the time to myself. Pro. 3:6, I say it to my son every time I talk to him. I try to bring it back to his remembrance. I just picked him up from college today. In February he was inducted into the School of Honors and the National Honors Society. He finished the semester with a 3.5. He also plays football. God is good. In ALL your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path. He directed me to this video. Hallejuah!!!

Thanks for this video it really helped me. If I had to say one thing I try to do to keep my relationship with God tight is I set my alarm half an hour before my normal time to start getting ready, I go on my knees ok the side of the bed and I sing along to worship tunes. It really helps me a lot knowing I can praise God the way I want to and nothing is disturbing me. Also, recently I went to Travis Greene's revive concert in Golders Green ( it was the BEST night of my life so far ) and I remember when God told him this : "Its not if God does a miracle the. You start being obedient. You have to move forward and say Yes to God then he'll perform miracles"

I struggle with reading the Bible sometimes, which is terrible simply because of your point that it's a weapon against the enemy, but I'm being honest. I lay down in my bed with my laptop a lot, so I play the audio bible and listen. Great video and tips. The YouVersion Bible App is awesome too. I typically will sit in my quiet room in the mornings and spend time in the my turquoise Bible, I have a journal, but I love to use loose leaf paper to take notes upon. After this I start my day. Please keep me in prayer I’m fighting my way from backsliding.

I just came across your video. my alarm is set 1-2 hrs before I actually have get ready no matter how tired I am or if I'm running late I always have my time with God. I listen to worship music and listen or read the bible myself and take notes I also do this bible study lesson online it gives you chapter's to read and you have to take a test. I love listening to Elevation worship, hillsong, bethel music just to name a few. I also listen to Pastor Steven Furtick, Joyce Meyer, Kim pothier, Sarah Jakes Roberts just a few I even record my own pastor during service and go back an listen to him. Even if I'm going to be late for work I make sure I give God my time. Sometimes I meditate if I get up early enough. lol

I keep my mind on Jesus by interacting with other Christians. My church have a lot of fun activities that keep me in church almost everyday, which I need right now. I like the idea of having a journal, neat. Thanks for sharing. Stay blessed and encouraged.

“The Power of a praying woman” is one of my fav books. I recently gifted a copy to someone. A def must read! My Aunt just sent me that exact “Jesus Calling” devotional & Lastly, Jer 29:11 is also one of my fav bible verses. It’s on my bible cover as well as on my journal. Great minds 😊

I am only a young teen and I have been worrying a lot lately and have slowly been walking away from God but I was going to get of KZbin and I noticed that after I listened to a few Christian songs my whole KZbin recommendations were a mixture of normal videos and Christian videos and they all seemed to be videos that I have interest in and your video is the one that kinda spoke to me the most and it really helps :)

I just came across this channel and I'm so happy to see that you are so invested in your relationship with God. one of the things I've learned in my walk with God us that alot of the bible has been changed up so much and so many words have been removed. I suggest that you get the oldest version possible of the bible which is the 1611 kjv bible it is the best version because it is the most accurate and has the least change in it from when it was produced.

awesome i have almost everything you mentioned except the prayer journal. I just use a notebook for that. My mother in law got me the journaling Jesus calling one. I havent read uninvited yet but its on my to do list

I was just on KZbin and I came across your page and I immediately followed you tomorrow I'll be off to a bookstore for some new things to read. I've always known the Lord for myself of course there have been times when I've fallen off but who doesn't but as a 25 year old I want to continue to grow in the Lord and do and be better

One thing that has helped me incorporate scripture into my everyday activities is a good podcast. Daily audio bible is awesome, and I also listen to some apologetics stuff some days. It really helps me feel like I am a part of a community of believers, which is important for me in my walk right now because I literally put so many activities I used to do and the people I used to do them with behind me. I use the app Podbean and currently my fave podcasts are Unbelievable with Justin brierly, daily audio bible, and two of francis chans podcasts (I forgot their names). I hope that helps someone! 💖
