I have a war binder that I’ve customized for my needs that is a big big help to me. Along with that I have my journaling bible, my digital bible that I use when out and about and also to take notes for particular scriptures at church, as well as bible app to aid in study, the same devotional that you use, and an illustrating bible that allows me to create a word picture for scriptures. I use a notebook to take sermon notes from videos that I watch and then I have my favorite color coding pens and postits as well as inspirational stickers. Oh yes I do like a good scripture mug but have trouble finding ones that are dishwasher/microwave safe. Anything that gives me a reminder of my identity in Christ, is something I’m eager to add to my life albeit jewelry, signage or message pillows for my home - anything that keeps my mind focused on Him, and lest I forget praise and worship songs on my phone. I absolutely love your content. I've been in an out of my walk with the Lord, and one thing that has been a struggle for me is making time to read His Word. Like you I love to keep a journal because I feel like writing is when I can be more initimate and real with God with my emotions and what I'm going. SO these a great must have as a Christian girl! Subscribed! My favorite bible translation is NIV. I also love the Bible app's devotions

I love the video and very great points even though I've already have known about these things, it's so good to be reminded! My number one thing I do is read devotionals with my boyfriend, but I am wanting it to be focused more on the Word of God more than anything. I use anointing oil too. But u can also use extra virgin olive oil. Thats what ppl use in my church. it's local and cheap. You get the oil, then you or your pastor pray on it. Then you can start using it.

A blessing indeed. Thank you. U just taught me the use of devotionals 😂. I just felt they didnt satisfy me, but they much better than not spending any time with God. 🙏🏽... Will get the Christian mug pens etc esp for at work, to set the atmospher in my office. Looks like prayer shawl can really act like an altar. Last but not least annoing oil really got me through my graduate school overseas. I feel like I couldnt have done well without it. Our pastor had asked us to bring bottles of olive oil for him to pray for. Im grateful, thank you so much!

I use the NKJV and then look up the KJV and compare it because the NKJV can sometimes change the wording or verses in a way that is important to notice

I love NLT for reading! It is both a literal and a thought-for-thought translation like the NIV. You can certainly read this one. And when you do Bible study, use a literal translation like ESV, NASB, HCSB, CSB, NKJV, etc. When I study I prefer to use several literal translations to acquire the full understanding.

I have a NASB study Bible and a KJV journal Bible. Both have ample writing space on the margins, esp. the journal Bible. I have notebooks too, but they're for prayers and sermon notes. I had the Jesus Calling too and other devotionals, but I'm not feeling them anymore. I'm using the First5 app now, highly recommended. :)
