Been fascinated by Christian Marclay since he was cutting up vinyl LPs with dental tools and gluing the pieces together to make new records. Tape on records, things glued on. Saw him in 1988 at the Performing Garage, as a turntablist. Saw his "Festival" exhibition at the Whitney 2 yrs ago. Excited to see The Clock when it returns to NYC. Happy that he's getting recognition for his great art mind.

I was reading about the film Slaughterhouse-Five and this film had an edited piece of it in it. I didn't realize it was an art film, pretty wild story.

LACMA will show "The Clock" at the Bing Auditorum on Saturday, March 24th starting at 12 noon for free and it will run 24 hours straight until the next day. "You know you are wasting time when you are aware of it" this video states yet a commentor below writes that they watched three hours without even noticing the time because they were mesmerized. It might be "nuts" and it might be an interesting experience, if you have the TIME.

He spent the time compiling all of the footage and editing it together, so yes he did "make" the film. Your sarcastic use of quotes are unnecessary.

It was great to see Interviewer interviewing the film 'maker' and they both looked like twin nerds. Identical, and both full of HOT AIR.
