For all the singles out there, pleaaaseeeee pleaseee hear me out... About a year or so ago, I prayed like you did, and God answered. Now that I am in a relationship, do I realize what an amazing season that of singleness was. In spite of the desires being fulfilled by a future husband now, not even he was able to fill the loneliness and longing for happiness and satisfaction I had. ONLY JESUS WILL DO THAT! Now, I'm left with little time to do my quiet time and devotions I used to do, I go to a different church I don't necessarily feel at home in, now a movie takes over my relished reading time... Things I didn't even consider would affect me because of a relationship. Yet, communication to reach a balance between both, being transparent not critical helps. A relationship is an investment and requires sacrificing some of those things you now enjoy. It will bring many joys but all also many sorrows. And he will not always be what you expect him to be, he's only another imperfect and sinful human as you. Depending on his walk with the Lord and or maturity, he may get impatient, he may have a bad habit, he may not be the handsome man you expect, he may have wounds that need healing, etc. Don't expect perfect Prince Charming. You are to be his compliment and help, so that means work and submission, be there to give him encouragement and even advice but never to possess him. Now that is a curse brought in at the garden, so you must work on yourself and not be hard on your husband, learn to love and be humble, owing mistakes and meaning true sorries. While you pray, pray that you are prepared and ready for the many challenges this relationship will bring for just as Israel prayed for a king as they could not live with God being their King, they needed a physical person as the other nations, so are our trials when we pray for a physical husband as Jesus is and forever will be our HUSBAND. Now, it is true that some are called to be married and the Lord will grant you all grace to overcome, but please first, edify and fortify your relationship with Christ. Enjoy this time alone with Him. Nothing ever compares to this. Once your husband comes, you may find yourself and your spiritual integrity tested and in places you never foresaw. Please do the best you can to rest and enjoy the Lord's presence in your singleness. There is nothing like it! May the Lord help you all as you seek His help and guidance 🙏❤

Some people don't keep their vows and the commitment is broken. A marriage can't be sustained when one person doesn't want to be married. That's why there is so much divorce it takes two people to make it work. If one isn't faithful that's not the fault of the one who wants to stay married. No married person should leave a marriage for someone else. That's what this verse means. God doesn't expect someone to stay married to a partner that doesn't act married. That isn't love.

i met my husband at 35. such a long wait. my husband was worth it. i told God that I wanted Him to choose my husband, because I clearly wasn't doing a good job choosing. He's blown me away with my husband. I never would have picked him on my own. right before turning 43 we had our youngest child. God has been there for us every step of the way & I pray He continues to be faithful. We have Eph 3:20 inscribed on our wedding rings

Not all people are inclined to marry and there is nothing wrong with you for not wanting a mate.. in fact Paul says that “it is good for a man not to marry” in 1 Corin 7 and that “..those who marry will face many troubles in life” 1 Corin 7:28.. it goes on to say that it is better for us to be single if we can so as to not be distracted in our faith.. as we can focus totally on Yahweh instead of worrying about a mate.. 1 Corin 7:32-35 so be of good cheer that you want to be single! Not everyone is called to marry!

Hi! I'm 44 year old and I can identify with your words and fears. I've never dated anyone. Occasionally, friends have told me about some guys who've been interested in me, but they have never told ME anything, I just find it hard to continue a friendship when I know he is or might be interested in me, I don't know why I sometimes I just run away from them. How many women in their 90's have had a baby naturally? And besides, I have known others who got married late in life (like in their 50's and up). Every one of them ended up with a serious illness within a couple of years after the wedding day. And they all seemed like they were in pretty good health, at least, on their wedding day. And then they'd die within five years. I don't know if it's because they had something wrong that they didn't know about with their health or was it the stress of being married that caused it? I have a tendency to believe the latter was the case.

I worry about this with carte and job… 48 and nowhere near my friends and siblings were at 30. This scares me and I feel like starting up my business again- or getti into another graduate program or anythjng to make it work- but then I fear more that what if the Lord was against all this and by trying anything I’m repeating the cycle again. So now I will do a client if they come up- I’m not excited about business or making price lists or finding a space to operate out of It feels lazy and irresponsible and I go crazy every time trying to figure out what this time Maybe it’s manna time and Ineed to realize no part of life is apart from Hjm- and not decide anything apart from Him This includes directing a business. The one who wishes to enter God's presence must abhor what is evil and love. What is good. Father before a word is on my lips. You know, each thoughts, each tier, each joy you see. For I'm your cherished child. I find it hard to comprehend the extent of your love. And I know I rarely see myself the way that you see me. Lord, you know my heart. You know I long for love. My search is for that special friend. For intimacy. For friendship. For someone to depend on. I know you watch me proudly. As I live each day. Each moment please. Cause my path to cross with someone you'd like me to be with. Guide my heart. To take your hand, to hope and trust. And you help me be patient until I meet somebody who you know will be a perfect match for me. I'm sure you want the best for your child. The Scripture declares that whoever finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from you. I pray that my husband finds me. I pray that you lead us to one another so that we both may find good things. I thank you for blessing me with a husband. I will wait patiently and faithfully for him until we cross paths. Lord, I pray for a God fearing, humble, gentle, faithful and loving man may be one filled with respect for women and protect them in all harm, trouble and afflictions. May you come fast in his life. And may he be one who leads a family to God. In Jesus name. So shall it be my child, according to your face. If you've prayed for a husband. And God hasn't answered. I don't know why he has chosen to answer or not answer. In that way. But I do know this is. No. Means I'm protecting you from what you don't see. I have something far better for you than you have thought to ask for. We trust that the one who loves you more than any other knows exactly what he's doing with your life. He is loving. He is good. He doesn't make mistakes. And he is your eternal best at heart. Please remember that this story remains fictional since God's presence is everywhere. I never prayed specifically for a husband. I never needed anyone. Until now. Lately its lonely. A while ago I met someone..He gave me the perfect picture of everything I ever wanted..everything I ever dreamed but was afraid to think of nor pray for. I got into that..started praying that this should be my husband! Suddenly I wanted all of it..wore my heart on my sleeve wuth him...he did the same then..made a thousand wonderful promises..then Suddenly he has walked away...No argument.. Nothing bad happened. I know finding a husband is not the answer, but keeping a good relationship and be dedicated to each other. I've prayed for a perfect partner in my 20s but I've let them go in my 30s. The one thing I hate being a single is that I get discriminated by my own family. Other than that, I feel much better on my own, not dependent on anyone, but on God only. I know having someone in life will not solve the problem of loneliness, and there're countless bad examples of broken marriages. I dont know God's will for my life but I know one thing for sure: He has protected me from all the worst.

Yup. My relatives all believe that I am about to "come out of the closet"; and this is why I must be single. I am going to turn 41 years old in Sept. 2024; and I have had peri-menopausal symptoms since I turned 35 years old. It really hurts to see all my cousins (even the males) get not one but two babies; and I am the only one not married without babies. It has made me refuse to participate in even Christmas holidays; because I get questioned by my un-saved relatives. I rather celebrate Christmas alone than to deal with the discomfort of their questions or perceptions about me. It really hurts to give up the idea of having babies of my own (after having worked 9 years as a nurse on a postpartum unit- I got to help everyone else with their babies except I will not have that experience- how fair is that!). The truth is I do not want to have babies in my older age (I know too well the energy level and the toll it takes on your body). And while adopting kids seems like a lovely idea, it really feels like a consolation prize- no, thank you. My dreams are just crushed.

Husbands are not for everyone. I don't know, I know God instituted marriage but not everyone knows what marriage means, or has the ability to be a husband or wife. We don't just become husbands/wives, we have to learn how to from the Bible. At the end times, it might be harder to meet quality Christian men/women. I’m learning that the feelings should be brought to the feet of Jesus. Just as the woman in this video did. I don’t think they change outside of God giving us peace DAILY after speaking with Him. We must acknowledge Him in all things, even unanswered desires. I notice the feelings destroy me the most when I don’t share them with Him. We should cast this burden on Him daily and then eventually stop picking it up. Talking to Him and reading His word daily does not replace the lack of a husband but it fills us supernaturally to not break because of our situation and what things look like. That time with Him teaches us to persevere through time, prayer and fasting. These videos on KZbin are deception most of the time. For views alone, as you said. But God is not a man that He should lie. I pray we prioritize His counsel over all others. Even with all this said it’s still not easy. But let the joy of the Lord be our strength even after this prayer is answered. I’m learning to focus on Him and not the feelings but also acknowledging the feelings in prayer, if that makes sense.
