A little fact checking: Setting aside his deeply problematic history (google it,) Billy Porter was not even by a vague stretch of the imagination the first man to wear a dress on the red carpet. He was perhaps the most high profile man to do it up until the time he did it, surely, but to erase the countless queer men who came before him and wore dresses to red carpet events is unacceptable. Additionally, the image of him on said red carpet was NOT "the most googled image that year." Billy Porter WAS, according to Google, "the most googled red carpet celebrity of 2019." Those statements aren't even close to the same. That's all.
