I had 2 Jehovah's Witnesses knock on my door yesterday and I asked them the same question about having a knife in my back with 3 minutes to live and they just stared at each other blankly while trying to think of relevant Bible verses. So it has brought a smile to my face to see this video today. We continued to talk about Jesus, how he is central to the Bible and the only solution to sin, and we finished by looking at the differences between the JW Bible and my ESV. As they were about to leave they thanked me for my concern for their salvation and said they rarely get that.

The break through for me was so simple. A man at a bible study (that my mom forced me to go to) asked me if good people go to heaven and I said "yes." and he bluntly said "you are wrong." I was so mad (being judged you know), but something about the way he said it....the tone...the look in his eyes...I could not let it go. Later, when I went home, I could not stop thinking about what he said (and other things) . It was from that time on that I started to read the bible and to this day, I continue to grow in Christ and pray for that man who said the truth. Thank you Lord. Thank you Walter.

They have teaching guides that they study through the week that tells them what they are to teach. They must conform to the format of those guides. "Do good people go to Heaven" is actually a trick question. The Bible does not address this. Your answer of "yes" was actually correct, but his point that he never made was that being good ALONE will not get you to Heaven. We need the forgiveness of Christ.

We all sin--- lie, cheat, steal, gossip, lust, sear, covet, gluttony, etc. God must punish us for that sin OR we can receive the free gift that was provided through the death of Jesus who paid the price to remove our punishment and give us salvation. And it's FREE -- by His grace -- because of His love. A love that was willing to lay down His life so that we can have that FREE gift. The only thing is just like any free gift, we have to ask for it. People would fill out a questionnaire or put their name in a box just to receive a free gift card or TV. Jesus is offering eternal life and we just have to receive it.

Matthew 28:19 The individuals on that video need a Savior as both you and I do Martin, please listen to the video one more time and answer those questions Ray asked them as if he is asking you, answer each question honestly, please don’t harden your heart. We believers have a hope and that hope is in Jesus. Just 6 months ago I ended a mentally abusive relationship with my bf who was brought up as a JW. He told me heartbreaking stories of himself as a child being forced to go door to door. He told me his parents didn't care about his education. Not once did his parents go to any of his parent-teacher meetings, anything. He dropped out of school at the age of 17, didn't graduate, and his parents didn't even care. All his parents cared about was the JW faith and what the elders said to do. He ended up leaving the church at age 21 and started drinking and had a failed marriage. When I met him, I had no idea just how damaged he was. He didn't want anything to do with God, he was very unhappy, just empty. I tried for 5 yrs to get him to open his eyes, but I just couldn't take it anymore. I would cry everyday and he would just drink and stare at the TV. I still pray for him. I pray Jesus will unharden his heart and that one day he will give his life to Jesus and be able to experience joy and peace. 😔🙏💜

Read Ephesians 2:8-9 "by grace are ye saved through faith" How are we saved? through faith. Not from leaving our sins behind because we will ALWAYS be with sin. I was raised as a JW, extreme persecution at high school , despite that a guy who ended up being my best friend and his family introduced me to Jesus and from that I have received endlessly... A beautiful wife of 20years and two amazingly children both warriors for Christ . My mother knows our stance and has rejected me and my family , I believe they are good people that are veiled from Christ's importance.

That Jesus and Jehovah came to earth, looked at all the religions of the world and chose the Jws as the true religious group. If you are not part of this group you will be destroyed at Armageddon This is not from the bible , if it's not from the bible it's Antichrist. Their bible is rated as the 3rd worst translations of the original text. Look at the founding person and his background. They belive that Jesus is an angel, that arch angel Michael. There is a governing body that rules over , and only new light can be received by them then transferred to the church. They practice papacy type government in their church , disfellowshipping . It's fear based. God did not give us a spirit of fear.

He pretty much asks if a person has lied, stole, or committed adultery, after asking if they are a good person. This same logic about the painter and creation. The question is that if a painting or an intricate complicated watch needs a creator (man), then man needs a creator, but why stop there? If man needs a creator then whoever created man also needs And a creator, (or a god), and that god needs to be created by another god and so on. But 'matter can be neither created or destroyed. Christians use this first argument on people who don't think and for sure do not understand logic.

Adultery is the key word in this verse. The verse is referring to married men lusting after a woman other than his wife or a single man lusting after another man's wife. The man on the beach is a sinner, just as we all are (including you and me). You preach about the Bible, but appear to have little understanding of it so you pass it off as just a book written by man. It isn't. I pray you find a mentor to bring the truth of the Bible to you.

Huh? Nowhere in the Bible does it say if you believe you are a Christian you are saved. I can stand around all day calling myself a Christian but Im not saved. I am saved because of my believe first in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and that he died for my sins and rose from the grave and defeated death. THEN I am saved as the Holy Spirit sanctifies me. A saved person CAN have his name erased from the book of life. It's not a once saved always saved deal. Anyone who believes that is listening to Satan. All of what I say is documented in the Bible. Yes, the Word of God is absolute and if anyone wants to be saved, they need to read it so they know labeling themselves as a Christian is not going to get the job done.
