@@andikarya2528 W Explain what is "UNCLEAN" !! Anything unclean to me is abuse: psychological, physical or spiritual. Abuse of "power" as those geriatrics known as Governing Body members practice to keep you dumbed down. Dumbed down do you can not use uour own brain to think with. Therefore, heed the advice to: "Get out of her (WTS) my people" and learn to use your own GOD GIVEN brain to reason with. @@quartusbuys6831 There's values in life, morality etc but jw elders seem to get too big for their boots and seem to forget that it is Jehovah that searches the heart, and Jehovah does not make a person do what they cannot do! And of course dont forget that what he expects of us is not hard for us to abide by...the basics...not steeling, not lying etc. The Bible does not say that we cannot drink for eg. rather just a little is good for us, in moderation. I"ve known elders say you're not allowed to drink at all. Also, where does it say that Satan can hear our thoughts? It doesn't, he cannot literally hear our thoughts like Jehovah can. I grew up next door to a large family of witnesses, in the eighties and nineties. I always felt sorry for the kids, not being able to celebrate their birthdays or Christmas or anything. It definitely seemed like their doctrines changed rather frequently, as she mentioned. When I first knew them, they didn't identify as "Christians", and a short time later, they claimed to be THE Christians. They had a strange belief regarding the identity of Jesus, as well; I remember them referring to him as having been an angel, which made no sense to me, growing up as an evangelical Christian.

Oh yes. The bullying at school. I was in primary school in the 1960's and as in all schools in the US, every morning, the entire class said the pledge of allegiance while standing, turned towards the flag...except the JW kids. In about 3rd or 4th grade a boy from my class began to follow behind me as we all walked home throwing insults and a good number of rocks at me. This quickly escalated to slaps, shoves and if I hit the ground, kicks. In tears one day I screamed at him, "Why are you being so mean to me?" His answer was, "My dad said I could beat you up even though you're a girl because you must be a Communist since you don't salute the flag". I had to ask my mom what a Communist was and she just said "Never mind. Jehovah will kill him and his dad when Armageddon comes". Thanks mom. It got worse until my grandfather went to the school and told the principle that if this didn't stop he would sue the principle personally as well as the school board. The violence calmed down after that but I was still an object of ridicule.

@@Relex-p7r her abuse and the coverup of her abuse were both proven. Her abuser clifford whitely was convicted based on his documented confession to other elders in a judicial comittee for porneia. The detective who worked the case submitted a sworn statement to the IICSA hearings in the UK. His name is Philip Endsor, and you find a pdf file of his sworn statement with a 5 second google search, as it is a matter of public record. He made it clear he got no help from the elders obtaining that documented confession. Lacie had to use European Union data release law to get the record. So why are you on this forum, stating as a matter of fact that she is lying? Toward the end, she says "I couldn't understand how they chose not to help me . . . how they chose to help an abuser . . ." In reality, the elders were trying to help the organization, not the abuser. The organization didn't want to get sued. They loved money more than they loved honor, truth or justice. This almost always happens. Read Donald Jeffries' book "Bullyocracy" about how institutions almost always side with the bully and try to gaslight the victim (in order to evade lawsuits).

Dear Lacie. I've been in tears several times while listening to you. I was also abused by a family member as a young child. Though probably not physically as bad as you either. But it's the fear and shame that a child must live with day after day, year after year, that creates the deep trauma that never really goes away. Living in the same house as the perpetrator and constantly trying to avoid being alone with them. I finally told my mother when I was in my late 30s. She didn't cry. She didn't hug me. She stayed sitting on the other side of my lounge room while I too cried "the sort of crying that you can't come back from". The religion has a lot to answer for. The damage of their mind control in all areas of my life were profound. Thankfully I'm free of those thoughts now and I did leave home at 17 to escape the control. However, I did suffer for years due to the upbringing. But I also became a very strong woman. You spoke beautifully and I'm so very very glad that you are properly free of that religion while you're still young. AND big shout out to your wonderful sister and brother in-law. What a fantastic support they were. 🤗❤️

An omnipotent god who so desperately needs our attention and worship that he plans to have a day of great anger over a lack of attention from those who he purposely made unable to perceive it? Utterly ridiculous. An omnipotent creator would understand that proof is the only way you'll convince honest people. If those people and his worship really meant so much to him, then he'd be an idiot (impossible if you're omnipotent) to deny us proof beyond any reasonable doubt. The religion asserts that honest enquiry is challenging his sovereignty. Honest testing and proving is the only possible way to be absolutely sure of anything. This is very revealing. Their modus operandi is to hide, obscure and obfuscate the truth, purposely punishing honest questions, all while repeatedly affirming their narrative as "the truth" disgusting behavior. @Andreas John ...And to make matters worse, the elders have done NOTHING to stop child abuse or sexual assault due to the organization's RIDICULOUS "2 witnesses rules"! As a result, MUCH of the cases are left unreported and hidden under the rug! The elders are essentially letting MANY of the perpetrators of child abuse and sexual assault get away with their crimes! The victims are not safe, and the people whom we're supposed to trust are not doing anything about it! 😠😡😡 If you see that a child is being abused, REPORT IT TO THE POLICE WITH EVIDENCE OF THE ABUSE!!! DON'T just leave it unreported! These children NEED to be removed from dangerous environments and put in safe spaces where they won't be harmed any further! These children aren't safe!

There cannot be any such separate rooms, even in our kingdom hall in Lithuania, they sit among us, we do not ignore them or avoid, but we are vary, for they have been and learned with us, they knew that what they did was looked down upon by Yehowa but they still chose to live with the same reoccurring mistake and sin. Now elders are working with them because they seemed to have want to repent and understood their wrongdoings. My hear breaks for those who have been damaged by the ones in charge. Tho there are some that actually tend to avoid them, I asked one family why and they explained. "Oh we do not discriminate at all, but we have made this decision for ourselves because of the common sin embedded in us all. Out of fear that one or a other conversation may come out with them disappropriate to the way of God and Jesus and in fear we may find agreement with them, to the ideology of this world they may still carry with them. So it is not because of them, but of because of us and our fear that we may be tempted. As we will watch their progress, someday we will see them as before, without fear." A common theme in this cult, is that the mother's of the abused will insist they (own children) remain silent and reporting the abuse is discouraged. The mother's show little to no emotions and have no remorse upon hearing their child cry out for help. Maybe it's because, the mother's themselves experienced abuse and have been encouraged to never expose their abusers. Hence the lack of emotional reaction.

Something similar happened to a girl a year younger than me that I've known all my life and consider a sister as much as my biological sister. I saw what it did to her and I was blind with rage at the lack of protection that she was given when she came forward. But it didn't wake me up bc I thought it was a one-off, a bad situation where I lived. It wasn't until I was in my 30s and I finally realized this is a worldwide travesty that's being committed and overlooked deliberately everyday in the org, that's when I woke up and became determined to get out and never look back. Fortunately I never married or had kids but it scares me to death to think that if I had, anytime in the last 15 years, I would have raised them in this cult. That thought makes my stomach hurt every time I think it:/

Eight people died in the incident, including the attacker. The victims were four men, two women and an unborn baby still in its mother’s womb. So many of these stories are coming out. The issue with the ORG is not that they have sexual abuse instances that arise, because all organizations have that issue, I believe. The issue that damns them (Jehovahs Witneses) IMO is their absolute refusal to take these cases seriously and to report the cases they have to the police. I also grew up in the BORG and witnessed sexual abuse by many towards many. It was never handled well or sometimes even at all.

Very interesting indeed. I listened with both admiration for the lady and shock at the behaviour of a so called religion of Jehovers Witness. After a conversation with 2 Jehovers Witnesses several years ago whilst they were door knocking in the area they have been contacting me ever since, sending me letters and inviting me to their local Kingdom Hall in Merseyside. I have ignored all correspondence.

Lacie I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that. I was raised in the Jehovah's witnesses ever since I was 5. My mother started having a bible study with someone from the local congregation. So that meant no more holidays no birthdays. My father was furious since he was not a witness. Growing up JW is so hard , especially if you are attending public school. They didnt have home school late 60's early 70's. I was bullied every single day. People would tease me and say I must be Jewish. I was baptized at 16. Married at 17. Had my first child at 18. Since it was frowned upon to go to college, my husband and I made babies. The first year we were married he put his fist thru the wall. Used binoculars to look at the girl change her clothes across the street and when I was pregnant with our first born he cheated on me. And yes he was also a JW.

I'm going on 23 now and I can't help but ruminate on the years I've lost in my performance of participation in the religion to make my family happy, realizing only now how unacceptable their expectations placed on children is. I can only hope more people see these testimonials and understand the "Pristine and Clean Reputation" the organization places above all else, to the point of burying abuse cases so as not to "Bring reproach on Jehovah's name", is a shameful and hollow lie.

I had this one friend that i grew up with in the Congregation and after about 10 years she confided in me about her father who was also an elder had raped her daily for more then 10 years. the congregation didn't do anything to him at all. This is just one of many stories and this was all from one small city in southwest florida I would say about 25 years ago. I honestly feel sorry for all these children born to parents who are in Jehovah's Witnesses... because they're basically losing A LOT of innocence in their childhood... forced to comply with doctrines and beliefs that holidays are wrong, birthdays are wrong, and you must be blindly obedient, whether you like it or not. Being obedient DOES NOT equal good children. These children who were raised by Jehovah's Witnesses end up lacking necessary skills to manage their emotions, as well as critical thinking, and as a result, MUCH of their emotional needs were NEVER met, which can lead to more challenging behaviors and many problems as they grow older. 😬😬😬

I was born into the organization 63 years ago. I too thought the grass was greener, and left for several years. I however blamed no one but myself. It didn’t take long to realize what I was being protected from. I only pray I can correct the damage I did to myself and others while out. Way I considered a prison was actually a safe haven. I’m so glad I returned, this is where I belong. I only ask that not much attention is given to those that are just disgruntle about getting fellowship only because they prefer sin.

Dude… …. I had always heard of these door going types but never saw one until I was in college… 2 of them came to my apartment one day and were asking me if I was Christian, believed in God, etc. i told them yeah I am Catholic … tbh, I was just trying to not be rude or cold or tell them to go away or anything… wasnt trying to get into any serious conversation, just figured I would make small talk and then kinda “alright, nice to meet you I gotta go!” And shut the door on them like thanks but no thanks without having to say it…. Holy moly… they never left me alone. They would come back every few months for almost 6 years (literally until I moved). They didn’t do anything bad or anything, they just would not take no for an answer even when I politely told them I am satisfied with my beliefs and not interested in your group… they would just come back, with smiles on their faces and just be all like “Oh sorry but we just were in the area and wanted to see if you were interested in these pamphlets…” and occasionally would tell me about their Temple which was like 45 min away which was weird and be like “drop by” … it got to the point i just wouldn’t answer the door or my live in gf would and just say he’s not here… and they always left pamphlets and literature… I looked at it. It was never anything cultish or whacky (which I kind of was hoping for for my amusement) it was just cookie cutter generic Christian messaging like Jesus loves you. BUT the freakiest part was literally 2 years into them coming every few months, so prob their 7th time coming to my place, I heard a knock and looked out the window and it was an asian woman (and it was always a black woman and a man of indeterminate race before) so I open and then the black woman just comes out from around the side of the building! It was like she was hiding to get me to open the door! Weird!! And the black woman was like “oh hi this is mei feng she doesn’t speak english but she is from china, I brought her to meet you because you speak Chinese.” WTF. Dude… I had made like 1 brief comment 2 years earlier the firstt time I met them just in small talk. I was in college so they were like “Oh what classes u taking?” Etc etc so I told them I was learning Chinese… and they not only remembered that passing comment two years later but had actually brought a chinese woman to me.. like seriously strange. It made me think they like take notes on people they talk to and had some file on me or something… that or just a great memory but in a sort of incessant type of way.. all so strange. They clearly were very experienced doing this though. Like they never went “too far” … they wouldn’t show up every week but more like every 4 months. They never asked to come inside. Never tried to tell me that Catholicism is wrong or anything, or chastise me for living with a girl. They always were polite and friendly. Like I said their literature was all pretty inane and nothing that would scare people off. And I’m just not the type of person to bluntly tell someone “I’m not interested please go away.” I would feel kind of bad lol. I kinda rely on people getting the message just from my body language and brevity… they were very persistent in a very seemingly calculated and careful way.

Something needs to change with this CULT! An ex Jehovah’s Witness organisation needs to be made as many of us are “disfellowshipped” and have a bag of clothes and kicked out of the family home, there needs to be a homing foundation and education foundation for people leaving because the Jehovah’s Witness bubble is so tight, the real world is completely opposite to what we have been so used too and so hard and lonely to adjust too. I hope all who read this get the help you need and realise you are not alone, find the help don’t feel guilty, the phrase “apostates” isn’t a thing you have the right to an opinion or a choice and shouldn’t be emotionally manipulated to think otherwise. Thank you for speaking up in this video but there is so many other issues that are also so damaging, the mind control, the emotional manipulation, the sexism, the fear mongering, the child abuse that gets dealt with internally, please please please something change, the Leah remini documentary on JW’s is a good insight, I’m hoping the new Rebekah vardy documentary being made is also good. I left 12 months ago. Disassociated myself from the cult. I was raised in a non Jehovah witness family on my dads side but my grandmother kept trying to convince me to join (mums mother) she and my cousin both picked the moment i was at my lowest at age 16. I was convinced i had found my tribe, that people now loved me due to trauma of bullied at school and abused at home. I was happy for once but it was short lived happiness. I noticed i could never fully accept what i was being fed but because i was in a cycle or coercion, love bombing and gaslighting they had me conditioned into being scared. I couldnt leave because if i did i would be shunned and left alone but if i stayed i would be mentally abused. I got bullied for being neurodiverse. I genuinely would hug people as they entered the hall because i was drawn to show warmth and love but a ministerial servant now elder grabbed my by the shirt and dragged me aside and told me off that i cant hug women. I had a elder say i was basically a burden for asking for accommodation as i was nearly homeless and had been to the psychiatric ward. I began to hurt myself even gave up but survived. My dad came in after me which he used that cult to hide behind. I noticed the teachings were off and things didnt sit right. I would complain but felt i wasnt allowed to ever question “gods representatives, nor do independent research unless it was from their website their watchtower and awakes etc oh and their bible. No critical thinking was allowed. If you dare question they will try to convince you your “conscience isn’t working, you’re on a bad course in life and scare you into thinking the devil is taking you away” Covid saved me. Because when covid hit we couldnt go to halls and for like a year i started to drift away further because i was neglected more and saw how they were being. To the point i got bored of watching the broadcasts or listening to their music. Lol i would fall asleep in the meeting and couldnt pay attention it was boring me. And my support worker convinced me to go to university to learn music becausw its my passion so i went met my amazing non jw partner. And ran away from the cult. It’s traumatised me to a point i am deeply wounded but i am surviving and feel sick happy. With how my life is now. But i believe being in that cult was one of the worst traumas i had its literally spiritual abuse. To the point of i dissociate, i shut down and get severe cptsd. If your a jw im not open to a debate. I am not wicked for leaving nor warning people. As you call people like me apostates just because we speak up. If you’re thinking of going to Jehovahs witnesses i strongly encourage critical thinking dont settle for what they say. Compare with outside material. I wish i did that 10 years ago if only

Police rushed to the scene at 9pm amid unconfirmed reports of shooters on the run (Picture: AP) Afte gaining entry to the building the suspect fled to the first floor, where he was pursued by officers before taking his own life. Eight people died in the incident, including the attacker. The victims were four men, two women and an unborn baby still in its mother’s womb. There had been 50 people in the congregation at the time. Hamburg police chief Ralf Martin Meyer said the suspected shooter had a weapons license and legally owned a semi-automatic pistol. Although he passed all the legal checks required to own the firearm, authorities received an anonymous report in Jan 2023 which suggested F may have an undiagnosed mental illness and should be investigated...My question is are YOU proud of this guy?

My beloved husband was verbally abused in JWs With we were young there were elders that were eyeing me as a potential mate but I loved my man We were both abused because we were working class people and did not make very much money. We are honest and tried yo be loving to all glad we left that evil organization after a few years and we develop a strong relationship with Our Heavenly Father and Jesus and they helped us to heal and become spiritually strong! ❤

My step brother became a Jw at age 14 , I often wondered why he became one but never pursued it , I respected his decision and never mocked him in any way just because his ways are different to mine…. If he was abused he never told me about it to this day
