Yep I dont think the ICE ever actually transmited power to the ground during that whole video. Quite sure at that speed only the Electric Motors are doing the propulation.

Even at idle the ICE is going to transmit power, the "torque converter" just isn't locked up yet. Hell, the car isn't going fast enough for it to lock up until ~30mph depending on the idle speed of the engine.

Interesting sound at the start if that is the Electric motors. IIRC Yasa Axial Flux motors should be quiet because it is flatter plates and not much spinning length. Yet that was a substantial winding sound.

the large silver pipe is only a heat outlet for the electric motor fans. The combustion engine exhaust is hard to notice, and flared to match the rear splitter

There is already hydraulic for the rear and front wing and for the suspension. So they decided to change the strut for the rear and front by hydraulic one and add some to the door and other shit. The whole system add up 9 kg to the car, and since the Regera is more street oriented it make sence.

He basically designed a Koenigsegg and a RIMAC Concept One in one car. The issue is he should have put two of the motors on the front wheels VS making it all the time rear wheel drive. Mate RIMAC team is working with him on his power systems as he gets closer to releasing the Regera to the public. The car loses a lot at the beginning from what I see trying to keep the power to the ground. But the issue with that could be due the the design of his single gear gearbox. He needs a lot of electrical torque at the beginning to allow him to favor higher gearing ratios.

Has anyone ever bought this hype yet? 50 videos of the same car with Christian Von Koenigsegg standing with people talking about how he started, wht this car is, what does insignia means and same BS over n over again. No real customers/owners driving it. Its only been reviewed by youtubers who somehow get access to the factory in Sweden or its Mr. Christian moving with his entourage and cars to places like pebble beach. Enough! Done, get over with it. Sell it. Move on. So many other manufacturers have come up with their featured models and got it reviewed and sold since this Regera was launched. Damn!!!
