I think it’s entirely plausible that his social outlook was warped by early rejections from black male schoolmates, then reshaped by the predominantly white female social structures in which he finally found acceptance (ie. cheerleading). It doesn’t excuse the boy’s misguided views and intentional obliviousness, but watching the video, I saw Bob schooling and trying to help a damaged young soul, which is exactly what he needs if there’s any chance of him seeing the error of his current views. It’s incredible that Bob made this video, as I think he’s one of the few people intelligent (and patient) enough to be able to reach through the boy’s pain and maybe help him find a way out. I think there’s a reason Bob is known to be friends with some of the most “disliked” Drag Race alumni: His character & intelligence allows him to place personal frustrations to the side and face the fact that ugliness and hate most often come from two reliables sources: Ignorance and Pain. When I was kicked out of my parents house and looking for rooms to rent, I would mention I was gay because I figured at some point I would have my partner over. That was always the point in the interview where they’d say “I don’t think this is going to be a fit because so and so isn’t ok with THAT in our house”. It was scary and heartbreaking every time. People have argued with me that - that is grounds to sue. But if I am struggling to rent what makes you think I could realistically sue? I needed housing immediately not months after winning a case. My partner and I have an apartment together now though, going on 3 years with them

I'm glad things worked out for you both in the end, and pride month is needed not just for the LGBTQIA+ communities in countries where things are okay to a certain extent (I live in Wales and there's still a lot of work to be done here) but need improvement, but also to remind people that the global LGBTQIA+ community need to be safe and have rights - one simple way to think of it, when did a heterosexual cisgender person have to knock countries off their places I'd love to visit list because they'd be at risk just for being themselves

Honestly, as sad as it is, i kinda wish I couldve lived a sheltered enough life to be as disconnected from reality as people like Christian. To be able to be a black, lesbian woman in america and feel as strongly as Christian that conservatives are "for the people" is simply unimaginable to me. I wonder what thats like

I'm a straight girl who grew up in rural PA to a pretty WASPy lower middle class family where everyone worked blue collars jobs or had their own farm and it's totally unimaginable to me that anyone in poverty or the working class can think that conservatives are for the people. Honestly, we need more women, people of color, and working class people in office. They are a voice for those who conservatives look down on.

Seeing all the crazy beauty trends in different time periods and places throughout history, I feel confident in asserting it is very likely armpit hair will become trendy at some point.

When you said "wokist, leftist, librarians," that reminded me of the time I was at a grocery store checking out, and I was wearing my lesbian dragon shirt, the cashier said "does your shirt say librarian dragon?" Fyi, my bag strap was covering part of the lettering. So I corrected him and said "it says lesbian dragon" and he completely stopped talking to me and gave me a death stare. I checked out and got out of there as fast as I could. The funny thing is, he was super gay. Like, the gayest dude I've ever met. Felt bad for him. He was rly young, and his parents were probably super conservative Also, the original karen was named karen walker so when you called him karen walker it was actually hilarious

When are people going to stop thinking all women grow armpit hair as a political statement … seeing the way women present themselves visually solely as a vehicle for their political views is just objectifying at its peak and the idea that women grow pit hair to deter or shave to attract men helps to highlight how society has enabled women to feel pressured to fit the expectations of the male gaze. My body is not a political statement for you to pick apart ✌️

Please revisit this again! Especially given the recent allegations he made against his fathers abuse. The right turned on him for “costing his father the election” and now his content seems to be distancing itself from redpill talking points. Not to say he’s a liberal now or that he should be forgiven for the harmful misinformation/narratives he contributed to. But I love the way you talk about topics like this and would love to hear your perspective

He has never worked, is swimming in money and had the audacity of complaining about people "not wanting" to work. Since I was born I have lived 2 economic crisis, a pandemic and lived with crippling depression and anxiety, and I am neurodivergent. I am so so sorry I am having problems to get a job.

The only thing I shave is my own armpit, and even that I only do seldomly. I don’t even cut my head hair anymore. The only person who has complained about the hair is my mom. I don’t know if it’s because some people have thicker and more noticeable hair(most of my body hair is fine). But I don’t really see the big deal. I’ve never once actually hurt a person get a prosecuted because of their body hair lmaoo

The joke about those stimulus checks is that the goal was to make people shop in order to stimulate the economy. Buying a Gucci bag was a thing they wanted us to do. They had to tell people to spend that money rather than save it
