So is God 1 or 15 because can't be 3 in 1 if consistent. So Jesus is a human Muslim only when consistent.

Psalm 22 is a messianic prophecy of the crucifixion. Isaiah 53 also. Jeremiah 31:15 in context with jeremiah is about Jesus. Matthew 11:3 is in line with jeremiah 31:15. If mansur bothers to research and look at the old testament prophets himself he will get his answer

Did you read the verse before and after it too, because if a person is intelligent, they will read it in context, so what is the problem in the verse with the context? وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمْ قَبْلَكَ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ(And We had not given them Scriptures that they could study, nor sent to them before you any warner) meaning, Allah did not reveal any Book to the Arabs before the Qur'an, and He did not send any Prophet to them before Muhammad. They used to wish for that and say, `if only a warner comes to us or a Book is revealed to us, we would be more guided than others,' but when Allah blessed them with that, they disbelieved him and stubbornly rejected him This is the meaning of the verse if you read it in context, so nice try mate, try again ouchhh.

Paul was 100% a false apostle. All of Asia Minor rejected Paul. They complained to James about Paul that he was trying to make them end the Laws. When Paul arrives in Jerusalem, James questions Paul in Acts 21:21 about this complaint which the people of Asia Minor made. James made Paul do a nazarite vow in Acts 21:26, which included shaving his head and animal sacrifice. So they were still sacrificing animals long after Jesus. The people of Asia Minor came back to Jerusalem and seen Paul. They dragged him out of the temple and beat him up and nearly killed him in Acts 21:27-32 for preaching against the Law of Moses. The Roman guards came and took Paul away and jailed him. Paul then writes to Timothy and says all of those in Asia Minor had rejected him in 2 Timothy 2:15. After Paul dies, Jesus is speaking to the people of Asia Minor. The very people who rejected Paul. Jesus is praising them for rejecting false apostles in Revelation 1:20 and Revelation 2:1-2. The argument which no Christian can answer to is, why was Jesus praising the enemies of Paul who nearly killed him? If Paul was a true apostle, then Jesus would have rebuked them. But he was praising the very people who rejected Paul, proving Paul could never have been a true apostle. Jesus never mentioned Paul even once to them. Even Barnabas completely fell out with Paul. The church is hiding this as they know most Christians don't read Bible and are just blindfollowers.

@Adam-zn9yh I consider Paul to be a deceiver who made up stories of a vision in order to convert people to his Hellenic teachings. Even then, he believed in a supreme God, and that supreme God was not Jesus. Christians believe that Jesus was able to communicate with Paul, the enemy but the same Jesus was incapable of at least informing his disciples of what new teachings he had given to Paul. Look at the following verses in the writings of Paul. 1 Corinthians 11:3 The head of every man is Christ, the head of the woman is man and the head of CHRIST is GOD. Note that he clearly says GOD and not the father. Colossians 3:1 Where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. He clearly make a distinction between Christ and God. Romans 8:34 Who is at the right hand of God. Ephesians 1:17 The God of our lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is clearly not God almighty. He was a messenger of God sent to the Israelites. He never had a message of his own but only what was revealed to him by God. A messenger cannot become the boss.

I put a time stamp for that reason so there wasn’t any confusion what I was referring to. You asked if one should follow the commentary of the Prophet and his companions of the Quran, even if the text doesn’t state what they are saying. But what happens when you come to a word like “Echad” in the Hebrew Bible. It’s seems like a simple word, with a simple meaning. But Jews say it means “one in being”, Christian’s say it means “one in unit”…two entirely different meanings to one word. Who’s understanding do we take? The Hebrew understanding for 2000 years, or the much later Christian understanding that fits their narrative? At 9:45 you misrepresented what Mansur was saying. He wasn’t suggesting people’s understanding of scripture much later should be viewed as the correct understanding. In fact he was saying not to do that, Mansur further gave the example of the Quranists, who read the “Quran” to their understanding. The example he gave was in the word “pray”. Majority of Muslims and Muslim commentary take that to mean ritual prayer. Quranists take it to not mean that, but rather simply connecting with Gods and making Du’a (personal prayers). He was relating Quranists to the Quran to Christian’s to the Jewish Bible. He is saying the Christian understating is the outside 2000 years later understanding of the Jews of their own scripture. Also, you said, how can we take the understanding of a people who rejected Isa. Good question. The simple answer is…the Quran is our criterion. We accept what is in line with the Quran, and reject what isn’t. You said there were messianic Jews prior to Jesus. Where? I think that’s was the evidence Mansur was waiting for while he was giving you a monument to look for it, before he was told you guys didn’t want to further the discussion, and that was when he respectfully wrapped it up. what is your understanding of “fiqh”? If the Jews a group of Jews were not following their scriptures, that doesn’t mean there was a lack of understanding, it could be a lack obedience/adherence to the law. What I think Mansur is getting at, is that NONE of the Prophets prior to Jesus, ever spoke of God as triune, and neither did God describe himself as such. Jesus’ own statements, especially in Mark, denote Jesus as a servant subordinate to the Father. When the opportunity presents itself to teach his followers of this so-called Trinitarian doctrine, he doesn’t say anything close to it. He rebukes the man who calls him good and says that “good” is only attributed to the Father. He then goes on to tell him the most important commandment is to love God with all of yourself (paraphrasing) and to be good to your neighbor. He teaches his disciples the Lord’s Prayer which begins with “our Father who art in Heaven, hallows by thy Name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”. Wouldn’t you think if Jesus was 1/3 of God he would teach them a different prayer including himself and the Holy Spirit? Also in the Lord’s Prayer it says to ask God for forgiveness- if Jesus was sacrifice why is he teaching his followers this? Isn’t he supposed to take the sins of the world? Jesus says “Without the Father, I by myself can do nothing”, part of Trinitarian doctrine is that all three persons of the Trinity are coequal with the same will. Jesus is contradicting Trinitarian doctrine with his own words as quoted in the Gospels. So you see, even independent from the Old Testament, there are glaring contradictions regarding the Trinitarian doctrine and it’s not surprising that it took over 300 years for Church Fathers to get on the same page and finalized Trinitarian doctrine. Jesus was an observant Jew who NEVER strayed from monotheistic tradition and Paul was never met Jesus and three years later says he has a vision of Jesus telling him he’s part of God, and somehow he is believed. There were early Christian’s who were Jews who did not believe Jesus was God. Research early Christianity and you will see how diverse the beliefs were on who Jesus was and his relationship to the Father. Reading this passage in Mark below, why would we come up with any other understanding of what “one” means EXCEPT in reading it with a trinitarian lens? We somehow can understand everything else Jesus said in this passage at face value except what he means by God is one ESPECIALLY considering that he never once associates himself as God or with God. He directs it all to God alone. Can’t you see what has happened here? Paul was misled and now what we call Christianity has very little to do with Jesus’ actual teachings but everything to do with what Paul said and how the scriptures evolved to match up with Trinitarian doctrine but the original spirit of Jesus’ monotheistic yea bongs as a Prophet of God still come through despite the effort to make him divine especially in John. Mark 12:28-29 28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 Jesus answered, ‘The first is, “Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one; 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.
