@@ChristianFuchsBlues ha...good one. Practicing your lessons today. I already sound professional though I have just started. LOVE the tension note points and the boss story which gets your point across so well. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Christian, you're a great teacher. The color coded keyboard helps a lot, and when you take time to talk about phrasing, approach, and the feelings behind the way the keyboard is played specifically , really makes a difference in helping me to try to keep those things in mind when playing now. So many of us get to benefit from your great ear for picking out the right notes, and showing them to us. It's very much appreciated. 🤓I know it takes time and effort to produce good videos like these, so thanks, we appreciate all you do to make these, and it's always nice to see another new one. 🐣🎶🎹🤓

One of you commented: "Never heard it like that before!" That is because your own emotional input is so hard to teach. So books and tutorials give you some notes and licks other greats played but not THE WAY THEY PLAYED IT. To fill the empty shells of licks that might sound like the "real thing" with something is what the player has to do! And THAT part is actually the real thing. Your first kiss you might have done like you've seen it somewhere or someone showed it to you. That, in principle, is just playing a lick. And you don't want to be a bad kisser for the rest of your life, no? :-) That is terribly hard to teach, cause the other has to give, what he or she doesnt like to give that easily. But I would feel guilty as a teacher not even to mention the "real thing", so that you can at least have the chance to make a choice! Kisses from Berlin ;-)

Thank you Christian, you are my new man haha. I often say that C, F and G are like bacon, cheese and onion as you can put them on anything (omelette, pizza, sandwich etc). So now I'm cooking with some new ingredients and off bake a lemon blues cake haha. So, I'm off to cook up a treat. Keep up the good work and I'm glad to see a like-minded person to help me on my way down here in Melbourne, Australia. Thanks again.

I like how you teach us to tell stories with music. Nice nice nice.... I am teaching myself boogie woogie, could you please do something similar with that style? Thanks for your work Christian! (cool name by the way. Lol)
@ChristianFuchsBlues5 жыл бұрын
This in my opinion doesnt transport to Boogie. Cause Blues IS by its DNA storyteling. Boogie by its DNA is dance & party music, later concert hall virtuoso music. Its fast. Try telling a story at 160 bpm with one action followed by the nex. No one will listen. ;-)
