Halloween 4 Michael and Part 6 Jason are very similar to me... both comeback from the dead(Michael was In a coma for 10 yrs he was as good as dead) and they both comeback super overpowered and unstoppable.

I love halloween 4....now i would have loved this for halloween 5 because i hate that movie. Or with Halloween 6 bringing back danielle harris and make jamie and laurie reunite after so many years but jamie lee was totally against coming back to the franchise until H20 in 1998.

honestly the only options would have been Dio, Skid Row or Metallica. all 3 would have knocked it out of the park. but outside of the hockey pads and mask, H4 is the second best film for my moneys worth personally. big city feel just doesn’t feel like Myers. his character uses absence of light; not more of it.

Halloween 4 doesn’t understand its characters or what made H78 and HII work. It’s a hollow cash grab that suffers from a teleporting killer who is around every corner, terrible camera work and a made for TV aesthetic. Without Carpenter, Hill or Curtis it’s just a producer looking to cash a check. A replacement movie that is as bad as the stupid replacement mask

I disagree on a few things. The real problem, is that the film *does look like crap on the small screen and yes, has a made for tv feel. But on its 35mm presentation, it was far more cinematic and atmospheric and the continuity errors were less glaring. The sound sucks on all the transfers we have gotten too. In terms of the teleporting, it was a smart move to make Michael omni-present and supernatural. Trying to pass him off as the human from the original had already been a stretch by the 2nd film and this version plays off the “pure evil” bent that Loomis laid out in the original. Final note: I met Dwight Little and he clarified that the budget was 3 million, not the 5 IMDB states. They pulled off a damn good feat, imo all things considered.

Nah, Halloween 4 is my favorite in the entire franchise. And I'm glad it was made the way it was! Dwight H. Little and Alan B. McElroy did their magic! I love Rachel and Jamie! And the intro to Halloween 4 was so chilling and the best in the franchise.

Definitely sounds interesting. The ending with Michael Myer's tombstone declaring he is official dead...I instantly thought "Friday the 13th part 6; Zombie Michael." but of course they could always rewrite the ending and say "No, once again he wasn't dead and buried. The grave stone was a lie.' but considering that they already did that in part 4....that just seems incredibly redundant. So they have to turn him into a killer zombie like Jason, or he's the "spirit" of Halloween more supernatural then he's ever been. It taking place in Chicago is definitely interesting and I do like the lake idea...but I also really like Halloween 4 despite it's problems and it has my favorite opening credits of all the movies except for part 3. Also.....it's the only sequel where we get to center on a kid actually trick or treating on Halloween night. So I like that. The ending when Jamie kills or stabs the mother and it's implied Jamie has been "possessed" or "influenced" by Michael or what ever the hell they were vaguely trying to imply and Dr.Loomis points the gun at her and is screaming "NO! NO! NO! NO!" I love that. Great opening and great ending. In my head I can picture Michael on the gurney falling down into the lake. Michael showing zero reaction. Big splash into the freezing watery grave. We get to see it from multiple angles and views including Michael in the water sinking further and further down. A strange creepy soundtrack playing. Making it slightly bitter sweet like "Don't kill Michael!!!!" and "Michael is dead!!!! The shape is dead!" That would of been a surprising moment. Something you definitely did not expect. Oh and by the way. Watched the rest of the Christmas show. I also love the 70's look. People ask "What are the best decades in horror?" and my response is always "70's and 80's" for multiple reasons and one of the reasons is because of the look of the 70's. I love that 70's look and that's an other reason why I consider the 2000's the worse decade in horror. The 2000's was just so incredibly bland and boring. That's also why I don't like modern movies of today. I'm a history buff and my favorite decades are the 20's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. Been coming around to the 30's and 50's. I always love A christmas story which I watch every year for Christmas eve. I really love the 1940's setting to the movie...also....mad respect for the mother and dad in that movie. Just perfect casting. I really love and admire the character of the mother. She's my favorite character in A christmas story actually. Since I brought that up. Shock waves. I admired your Shock waves t-shirt you wore at the horror convention this year. Shock waves is a great movie and it really plays on one of my all time biggest fears; drowning. It also has the claustrophobic scene and I am also claustrophobic. I love the ocean and aquatic themed movies. I grew up in a sea side town. I love sea food, etc...but the ocean and drowning is one of my all time biggest fears and phobias. So I have this fascination and extreme fear of the water and the ocean and shock waves definitely exploits that. The biggest thing that popped out to me about this unmade Halloween 4 movie as you were describing it was "This movie would of changed so much for the franchise and opened all kinds of doors." Other then the obvious "No Jamie/Laurie is dead or faked her death, etc." We could of gotten a Zombie Michael, or some type of Michael in a totally different form. Like he's now officially become "The boogieman" in a supernatural sense. A true supernatural sense. He's a manifestation. He's an idea, etc. Kind of like Freddy and to be honest....that is why Friday the 13th and Nightmare on elm street are my two favorite franchises and Halloween is my 3rd favorite. Michael never really changed and the franchise never really changed. Friday the 13th "oh they made the same movie every time" That's EVERY SEQUEL EVER MADE!!! But Jason does change through out the series. Jason was an evolving slasher villian and twice in the series it wasn't even Jason; Pamela and Roy. We also got zombie Jason and Tina the telekinetic. We also got different locations and scenery. Freddy...he's dreams so he can be anything and he does change through out the franchise. Michael and Chucky...are just Michael and Chucky. Still love those franchises, but they never really evolved. At least that is what I would and did just argue,lol.
