Many modern people love to talk about the great achievements of the pagan Roman Empire, but they seem to completely ignore the disgustingly inhumane cruelty that was there side by side with the greatness. The cruel and bloody gladiatorial games were not only considered a normal part of daily life, but as good entertainment. Probably apart from Christians, people today have completely forgotten (or never even knew) how Christ transformed entirely the whole Ancient world and got rid of so much cruelty and evil that we today can scarcely imagine.

It was a depiction of the feast of Dionysus; the thing that inspired the Last Supper. You know, one of the MANY stories that Christianity took from other religions?

I had an experience with Christ many years ago but afterwards became very much caught up in New Age. I couldnt help but notice how much Christianity is attacked so specifically and this always flagged to me that there musr be something inherently of truth to Christianity specifically
