Jim Smith ....yes but did you hear what he said? We must repent and put our trust and faith in Jesus. To have eternal salvation you need to be saved in the first place. Not everyone who says Lord Lord will enter into the kingdom. Workers of iniquity (continued sin) will be told "depart from me, I NEVER knew you" this means many people who think the are Christians will be going to hell? So it's obvious that you cannot claim the name of Jesus and be born again if you have no intention of turning from your old lifestyle of wilful, unrepented sin. Do you agree?

You’re close Simon but according to the scriptures not quite. Repentance is a choice of the mind (heart) that’s followed by action of obedience. Let’s just look at just obedience along without Christ. How well do you or anyone would have to live in order to get Jesus to not say depart from me for I never knew you? Right! None! So dispike of our personal holiness Christ death along is what we should believe and trust in. Those that He will say depart from me are what we called religious people meaning they were never saved the first place, for example I go to church, I paid titles, I was baptized etc. Salvation lies totally in Christ death and resurrection along. We repent mainly for 2 important reasons and that is He said if you love me you would or will keep my commandments (not to get or remain saved) and the second is when we do sin we give the devil an enroll into our lives which he will destroy. Remember Jesus said some seeds will produce a 100 fold, some 60 or 30 meaning good works. I can only speak for myself and that is my trust is totally in Him. Besides think about it, He died for ALL sins, not just up to when I made that decision to believe and receive. I hope this clarifies to you and others that repentance is a action of faith because you believe and not assurance that you will be accepted. Be blessed...

Jim Smith ...To have eternal salvation you need to be saved in the first place. If a person is living in unrepented, wilful sin which basically means iniquity he is not saved because it says workers of iniquity will be told to "depart from me I never knew you which implies you were never saved in the first place. the ones that will be told depart from me I never knew you are the workers of iniquity and not religious people. He didn't say anything about religious people who pay tithes or get baptised like you said. Not all people who say Lord Lord will enter in, this means that some people who call themselves Christians are going to hell but then it goes on to explain exactly who those people going to hell are.....the ones that work iniquity will be told to depart. Iniquity means continued sin not church attendance, paying tithes or getting baptised like you said. The bible says you will know them by their fruit and a good tree cannot bare bad fruit neither can an evil tree bare good fruit,.... Bad trees are hewn down and cast into the fire. Branches that don't produce good fruit are gathered together and cast into the fire. The wages of sin is death. Therefore if a person is living in unrepented, wilful sin he is not saved. You can't claim the name of Jesus while your heart is far from him. God knows everything. He knows the heart and he knows the future. God will not be mocked. When we hear that this is a gift, or that is a gift from God, it seems like the, "GIFT," we hope we don't get is telling others about, "The Christ, the Son if the living God." Matt. 16:16 Well, you need to think about that . Sharring with others about the Lord and what He has done for us is not a gift. Evangelion ( like Billy Graham) is a gift, soul winning is not. It's a privilege. We should want to share what the Lord has done for us. It should be as natural as breathing. One keeps us alive physically, the other spiritually. When Jesus left this place for heaven, how many of His deciple did he say were to be about the task of soul winning? Matt 28:18-20. If Jesus has had an impact on your life shouldn't you want to share it with others? We don't need to be fancy. Just tell, that's all, the HOLY SPIRIT will do the rest. If they want you to pray with them, lead them in the sinners prayer. Then be there to help them when you can.

When we hear “sin”, we think about the “major bad” behaviours and actions like stealing, martial affairs, and murder. We don’t realize that sin is everywhere...the things we think about, the opinions we hold, the things we say and don’t say, our actions and lack of actions, and how we treat others...can all lead to sin. I’m working on anger and learning to trust Christ in all things...I come from a very abusive childhood...I’ve never trusted anyone, I never let anyone love me, or really get too close....all of this puts challenges in my relationship with Christ...because a relationship with Christ is based on love and trust. I’m learning to let Christ in and submit to His love, trust, and hope...but the anger comes from everywhere...the riots of blm, the virus, news stories about child abuse, and knowing that the world is so much chaos and getting angry and wishing harm to those that harm others...but that’s not what Christ is asking for...He’s asking me to trust Him and focus on Him...to listen to what He wants me to do...or doesn’t want me to do...and understanding that this is God’s battle and if and when He wants my help, He will tell me what to do.... These days, I’m trying to surround myself with Christian music, Bible studies, videos on christian subjects, and talking to God throughout the day, and firmly holding onto my mustard seed... Sin means missing the mark. All too often, religion keeps people stuck in their guilt and shame of trying to live up to these high expectations of being perfect. Its called experience. Living out some bad choices which is to be expected- its called being human. You see the lesson, take responsibility , do the work to change your thought process , ( change the inner and your outer will change)... to receive different results. Jesus is NOT going to do it for you, He came to offer a different way of THINKING...not save you so you can sit there and not incorporate the lessons or change your behaviour.

Genetics now are corrupted amd bc of the mutations it would be very problematic to have children with your family. Thousands of years ago this would not have been the case. After the curse it wasn't like genetics were immediately corrupted it happened over a long period of time. Genetics wouldn't have nearly as many mutations and this the law was not needed until the time of Moses. Furthermore God never told them to do that did He? What Lots daughters did was wrong bc they did it against their fathers will and the LORD never said that this was good. U seem to be putting words in God's mouth that He never spoke. Many times we have stories in the Bible to show us what is wrong. David for example commited adultery amd murder, did God want that? No. It is in His Word to show us what is wring and the reasons why they are wrong and all the pain they caused.

Ray’s analogies are always so convicting! I used these lines of reasoning with my friend but she told me that she would rather go to Hell and live her own life than worship God. That's actually a bad analogy. The parachute has only 1 purpose, but living a life for God does make you happy, make you joyful, makes your life peaceful, makes your life better. Jesus said that you will have tribulations and that you will have persecution; but those things do not negate joy, peace, and happiness. @@ferzinhaN First thing that comes to mind is money, second is fame(not infamy), they aren't necessarily good(things to put your trust in, and they are not a replacement for God) but they work as an analogy. They can make you happy for a time, they can make you joyful for a time, they can give you security which makes you feel peaceful for a time, they can save your life in certain circumstances. If you have them you will be persecuted, you will be reviled, you will face tribulations, you will have increased responsibility; that does not mean that you will not be able to make yourself happy for a time, that you will not be able to have joy for a time, that you will not be able to make yourself feel peaceful for a time, or that they cannot save your life in certain circumstances.

Alot of Churches get caught up in the masses instead of individual discipleship which leaves allot of new believers carnal in their thinking and in a backslided, babe of Christ mentality. The best place to find info about God is His Word. Continue to study it and "prove all things, and hold fast to that which is good." And anything u find outside of the Bible treat it like the people in acts 17 who "searched the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so." The Bible and prayer are the first step but fellowship is also very important. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. - 1 John 1:7. We all have a lot to learn. @@n.holt7 I can't speak for other Churches but my local has a 12 week Bible Basic class and is taught by our senior Pastor you have to go through it before you can become a member it's great! First you get to know your Pastor one on one, and it's get you grounded in the faith. Questions, mysteries, flalse doctrine, all get discussed. Even for season Christians it's a good refresher!

Thank you for this video God really spoke to me through this. Honestly I have not been trusting in Christ fully for my salvation. I was very intimate with God at one point and feared God and loved Him as my father. Though somewhere along the way I was deceived but, this really really opened my eyes. I need to stop trusting in this world or it's ways fully open my heart to Christ and truly see sin for what it is. It is pure evil that will tear me away from God. I'm in similar position as her, going through trial this year has place doughts that God will meet my desires. I still believe in Jesus Christ and I love Him, but it's hard to pray anymore for what I desire knowing it will not be answered. I just pray for others now, and basic needs. Years ago I intentionally blasphemed because I was so angry about my life's circumstances. To this day I am still plagued by involuntary mental blasphemies that I don't want, so much so that I mentally think "Praise God" to counter it. It especially happens when I think of holy things and even as I pray. before I found Ray's videos, I was like this. I "believed" in Jesus" but never really understand what that meant. I mean I believed the story that God came down and became man, died for us etc. What turned my life around was the law. When I started watching these videos it hit me that I needed to submit my life to Christ and turn from my own ways. I can't tell you enough how true repentance has changed my life. Some might think by repenting and turning away from even the slightest sin that it could be hard and frustrating. To be honest, it became an amazing calming experience because the Holy Spirit really did come in and gave me a new heart instead of heart of stone (Ezekiel 11:19). The gospel came alive and my eyes were finally open to the amazing grace that while I was still a sinner, Christ died for me. Now, I can't get enough of reading what I call "Life's Play Book" (the Bible) and get to hear from God and His total plan for us all. The more I get close to God, the farther away I get from the world. I no longer have a desire to worship sports teams, or to build some empire business. I have learned to realize that God's plan is bigger than our 70 years here on earth. He has given me Eternal Life! And I don't deserve it! What a Wonderful God we get to serve!!!! Lastly, it was a true pleasure and honor to get to meet Ray Comfort not long ago and to have him pray for me. He is truly an inspiration to me. I also am in his biblical school of evangelism which is amazing.

Please pray for me that I have more faith. I believe what Christ did for me and repent of my sins, but why do I keep messing up? I pray for God to give me more love so I can love my enemies and to take the anger from me. What's wrong with me? I don't want to disappoint God and it's making me wonder if I'm saved. Some people, when they come to Christ, have a radical change. That didn't happen for me.

@V Trust you have to pray for faith yourself as I came to the Light what I pray for was faith everyday because faith was something I didn’t have, and before I knew it i have faith beyond measures, my faith has been tested quite a few and I pass with flying color. I pray for faith because I honestly didn’t know what I was getting myself into coming out of darkness into the Light of the Most HIGH.

That didn't happen to me either, just the deliverence from drugs alcohol and cigarettes( which is big) and I never picked them up again! Praise goes to God Almighty! But the changing of my ways has been a process, but remember that you have to be willing to let God work on you! Be Blessed now, in the name of Jesus. And never give up on God. OK? We all have to go thru trials and tribulations but know that Jesus will never leave or forsake you.
