Christina Aguilera and Amy Winehouse were the reasons why the sound of the 1950´s/1960´s became popular again, as they were the first artists that really brought back the real soul sound. They also had the emotional lyrics and the vocal talent to back it up . "Back To Basics" and "Back To Black" were the best albums from 2006, in my opinion. Christina Aguilera was always one step ahead of other pop stars, and still to this day she is still very creative. In my opinion "Back To Basics" was her best album and era. Vocally she were in her prime here and she also looked stunning. :)
