+ Tre!! You hit that nail right on the head friend! When you spoke about Christina changing her sound from project to project because if we consider her debut, to Latin Debut, to Christmas, to Stripped, to Back To Basics, To Bionic, and then Burlesque. And how this is SUCH A RISK for an artist because fans whom feel you during the sound life of a project aren't going to necessarily buy into a complete shift to a different sound or genre. And this in a nutshell is the reason why Christina... a) Isn't more popular. and b) Lacks the radio Hits that some of her peers boast about. Because people have heard of Christina, are aware of her talent, but only know a few songs here and there that they may like. Great observation!

Look up the visuals the black & white with reds! Yes that was a Chris Brown Sample. How perceptive, Glam was inspired by Rupaul. You Lost Me on David Letterman was amazing! Vanity is everything!!!!!! The deluxe Version has gems as well. The album went through so many versions because of her record label. They made her add NMT and other radio friendly songs. The blogger confirmed there was a sabotage campaign with the other singer but that's whatever. Now it's a cult classic ❤️ and pop history!

It was a very interesting time when this album came out. Xtina was dragged through the mud - it’s great to see people listening to this album without all the noise of 2010 culture and having an objective mindset. Album still sounds fresh to me. Personally, I think this should have been the double disc album while B2B be a regular cut (and cut out the filler). Also, the cover art for this album is unreal. Appreciate your honest reviews!!

Also you should really check the deluxe version tracks because some of these are the best tracks on the album like Birds Of Prey (so dark and experimental), Monday Morning (the funky vibes are great), Stronger than Ever (powerful and rocky but also not so cohesive with the album sonically), Little Dreamer (this one is just so cute) and I Am (Stripped version) is better than the normal version imo.

I love your reactions, I also think it didn’t do well due to her and her team promoting the wrong singles. Also I still think instead of doing a big tour she could of done an unplugged tour that year. Also I never liked Elastic love when I first heard it didn’t get it either but I grew to me in 2018 and it’s one of my favorite now. Her first single should of been Woohoo. Her best live performance for you lost me is when she sang on a Justin Timberlake show it’s recorded by a fan not the best quality video but she gives her best vocal and emotion to that song.

I love bionic but i feel this album was 3 different albums mixed together from the more dance club songs produced by Polow Da Don, Tricky Stewart and Claude Kelly to the songs from Linda, Sia and Le Tigre then the others with peaches, ladytron and MIA. She could have broken it up into 3 EPS or done something different.
