The difference between 1:08 and 1:15 shows very well the dramatic change in her singing technique that she adopted after working with Linda Perry and creating Stripped.

She sound a little weird when she's trying to hit those upper belts. But I love her mid belts though.
@gentlestalker55243 жыл бұрын
Due to the force and aggression that she's trying to make, it limits her belt not to exceed E5 (which I think if she improves her technique to be even healthier, she might be able to hit those upper belt notes easier).

yeah, it's like she wanted it to be fully chest voice, it could be a piece of cake for her if she could only mixed @@gentlestalker5524

It’s because she’s using the glottal stop to help her reach the highest note.

If only she had learned how to mix and had never listened to Etta James, she’d have been unstoppable.

So she hasn't belted live a clean and resonant F5 and up in her entire career? Shame
@eliletts16803 жыл бұрын
There were some pretty solid F#5s in this video (one pitch higher than an F5)! 😉👍

@@guyarthurorigin 😂🤣😂 She has belted clean F#5s in her career! Some of them were even in this video, LOL!!! It may not have been as many as Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey to name a few, but the exist. By the way, Mariah Carey is one of my other favorite vocalists of all time dhaling! 😉👍

Ok love xtina but these aren't great, but she's a mezzo so it's ok
@cashcow44503 жыл бұрын
Yes her being a mezzo is a factor for the lack of ease but it’s mainly due to her poor technique and constantly straining on those notes. Take Beyoncé for example, she’s also a mezzo but her belting up to F5 and even F#5 are executed greatly and her technique is even retained up to G#5 as well in terms of her vocal placement whereas Christina while amazing talented and naturally gifted struggles with these upper 5th octave belts because she squeezes the sound in her throat causing the notes to be either thin, weak, or cracks
@jorgeescudero50343 жыл бұрын
There are mezzos hitting A5... Christina is just... Trying her best to not sound clear.
