I bought the CD in January 2000 and it had the Music Video version. The lyrics on the booklet did not match at all especially the 2nd verse and bridge. My friend came over and her CD version was completely different and matched the booklet lyrics. Christina Aguilera sold 8 million copies in the US of her first album, I wonder how many of those pressings had this original version.

It’s on the original cd pressings from 1999. That’s the version I ended up with when I bought the album not long after it debuted. Genie In A Bottle was the only single released so far when I bought the cd. Later pressings had the new single/video version on it. She pulled the same crap with Come On Over (All I Want Is You). Re-recorded the song and re-titled it Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You). That ended up being the single and video version, and it ended up on the cd pressings along with the new version of What A Girl Wants.
