about 10 years ago little me and my parents travelled through the united states, stopping at snowmass. That was the first time I rented a downhill bike and fell in love with mountainbiking. Seeing this video brought back so many memories. Thank you!

I was there the same day and saw all 3 of them at the base. They walked right by my crew and when I mentioned Christina’s name I think she heard me. It was also our first time there and rode most of the same trails, albeit a tad slower then her crew. Awesome day of riding!!!!

@@pinkbike absolutely and we appreciate that! i think you were trying to make a point in so many words. Colorado has so many regulations when it comes to trail building and in the recent past a lot of these regulations have catered to xc trails. However the USFS have been slightly more lenient on what is acceptable ans safe for public use and i think if we get some more exposure to what is possible with mtb, we can help Colorado and America as a whole to become more accepting towards more modern dh riding and put us back on the map for racing and recreational use trails that cater more toward what the modern mtb rider wants to see. I work for a pretty major company in the resort business and Ive seen first hand how they destroy the mtb scene and i don't think that is right. If given the opportunity i would like to change that because i think that mtb is a huge part of the future for resort operations here in America and i would love to be a part of that change! Thanks again Christina for making a great video! maybe sometime in the future we can talk more about what is like living in these communities because i feel like Colorado and BC have a lot in common when it comes to cost of living and a lot of other struggles for the average person has to deal with moving to these areas. Maybe we can be part of a change, but as i said, I appreciate the exposure because all though we see a lot of traffic in the winter we could use some more traffic in the summer. Not only the resorts, but our local business owners also see a huge decline in revue when the summers comes around so we all really appreciate it!

wtf the resort allows hikers on DH trails in a commercial bike park? That's a huge safety hazard, why not build dedicated hiking trails like Whistler?
@natepittenger70842 жыл бұрын
No I don’t think she was correct on that from what I’ve seen there. Maybe she just saw where some of the multi-use trails cross the DH trails.
