CHRISTINA PERRI - A Thousand Years | Kyle Hanagami Choreography

A lot of what I put on youtube for you guys to see is inspired by my life and what I am going through. I've found that the scariest part of life is not knowing what's going to happen next and realizing I have no control of what life throws at me. But at the same time, that's what makes life worth living. A lot of the time I am so afraid of where I'm going to end up and how each action I take will affect my life, but at times, I just need to stop, take a breath, and trust that fate will guide me; I just needed to remind myself that everything happens for a reason. At times, things may seem hopeless, but its those trials and errors that make me cherish everything that I have in my life and will allow me to appreciate everything that I have in the future. I hope this video leaves you with at least a smile on your face, if not a thought on your mind. If it does, I have done my job. :)

The choreography was amazing, always moving, never a dull or stagnant moment, and the bits of acting and emotion in between really sold the narrative! I haven't seen a lot of dance videos like this, it holds equal weight in the song, dancing, and narrative. Really moving and fantastic job. The dancers were incredibly disciplined and emotive, I felt like the main couple might be real and when the girl was struggling to get to him in the final scene her flailing looked real - not like she was being seriously struck and injured but like she was feeling the struggle in a way that when acted out can sometimes seem fake, or too gentle. It's somewhat violent and great acting. They have real mastery of their bodies. Great work and great video! The editing and closeups were really good too

I don't know how many times I've been watching this. Then, I finally realized the meaning of the dance/choreography. It looks like the world are against in their relationship but they still managed to be strong until the end. Bang! My nose is bleeding. Huhuhu!

This is such a BEAUTIFUL piece. OMG I can't believe how well the choreographer operate the space and the image with the action together. All the dancers are fantastic too! I love how the backup dancers either are all doing the same movements as the two main dancers or they are doing partially the same movements to connect with the main dancers. This entire video is just a piece of art and it totally triggers my heart. Thank you for this gorgeous piece!

I've never seen a dance with such feeling cx I've watched the videos of me and my group dancing but I've never seen any type of feeling.we tried harder and harder but came out with nothing. Then I saw your video. I watched it till the very end and saw how much effort and feeling u guys put. I told my group that we should think about how we feel about each other and how the dance would feel. Finally we found it. Our inner selves.
