Yep, finishing my description here 😉✨ . . . Trust is a big theme in Miraculous, and I think the fourth season was especially insightful in showing how beneficial trusting others can be, rather than trying to carry it all on your own. When you trust someone, it helps take the weight off your shoulders, and no matter what uncertainties you face, you can find strength and hope in knowing they have your back. When I was with my friend I was a wreck mentally and fully aware of what was tearing through my body, and I was too afraid to even talk to the waiter cuz I didn’t trust myself not to do something dumb, but despite what was going on, I was able to follow her into the car because I trusted her to get me home, and during that ride I didn’t have to worry about my own abilities or disrupted mental state because I wasn’t the one driving. It’s the same with Jesus. Not only will putting your faith and trust in him guarantee you a life in heaven, but when you trust in who he is, his faithfulness, his goodness, his love and kindness, and you embrace how he sees you - his wonderful friend whom he loves, you can find comfort even in the middle of terrible circumstances because you know he will be with you, fight for you, hold you through it, and take care of you, no matter what. 💜💜 It’s amazing how powerful trust can be. Which is why it’s so important what we put our trust in. Later on in that chapter is Jesus also said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” 💕 The world tries to offer you peace through many things - entertainment, escapes, products, counseling, and temporary pleasures, but it’s transactional and it doesn’t last. Friends are great, but even friends can't be there for you all the time, and even the best people can unintentionally let you down. The peace that comes from trusting in Jesus does last, I know because I’ve experienced it through every difficulty I’ve faced, and unlike the ups and downs of shows, happiness found in Jesus is something you can always rely on and can never be taken away. 💛💞💫 When you trust him you don’t have to worry about controlling everything or being perfect all the time, because you can follow his lead and he understands you better than you understand yourself. He offers you the hope and joy that can be found in his presence and the more you get to know him, the more happy you’ll be. 💖 In summary of this very long one-sided chat... I just want them to be happy together and I want you to be happy too. 🥰😅😉💖🤗 I know I tend to talk about God and spiritual things a lot, but it’s because I know you _were meant_ for something greater, something wonderful, where you can be the best version of yourself without having to worry about facing the world on your own and know that you are fully loved and find freedom from the negative influences that try to tear you down.
