Meaning the idea that a teacher could simply demand the knife away from a thug like that was a fantasy even when this movie was made. Meaning the entire scenario was foolish. Meaning there was no reason to inject your half ass insults and political ideology into an offhand sarcastic comment about a 30 year old movie. Meaning go fuck yourself.

I always liked the teacher in this scene because he reminded me of a good teacher I had in high school. He was a pretty small guy and not even five foot 6 but he had authority. He got respect and even the worst bad kids didn't fuck with him. Nowadays a teacher would probably get fired for roughing up a kid even if he deserved it. Punk kids have too many rights these days and adults have no authority, that's why punks have no respect and get away with too much.

@castortroy7704
@castortroy7704 2 жыл бұрын
@@derricgreene And looks are deceiving as shown too. Mr. Casey, as accurate as he's described in the book, is a very short, bald, middle aged man but tougher than he looked outwardly, far more experienced in good old fashioned scraps (real scraps one on one, not the pansy ass chickenshit 4 on 1 or 2 Buddy and his crew pulled. ) Plus the students respected Mr. Casey, and he had a fiery temper if pressed as shown when he shook Buddy like a ragdoll for calling Arnie cuntface. Mr. Casey was a good bruiser in his time with experience and authority. His look at Buddy when Buddy threatened to hit him if Mr. Casey searched his pockets said it all. Mr. Casey knew Buddy was a cowardly punk at heart and all bark with no bite without his gang of friends and hoodlums or a weapon by himself against someone that can actually fight back and handle themselves. It was an act. The double fuck yell by Buddy emphasizes this too. Lol
@castortroy7704
@castortroy7704 2 жыл бұрын
@@derricgreene Now if it were Henry Bowers from It instead of Buddy and his gang of typical bullying thugs this scenario may have gone way different. Mr. Casey was tough and respected but Henry wasn't your average bullying coward like Buddy. Henry was A1 crazy and initially a short tempered, violent, sociopathic bully that spirals into a complete psychopath and potential killer under Its influence combined with the childhood abuse of his crazed ex-military neo nazi father, Butch. Henry as a Kid was thin but very strong and well built at age twelve from working on his psychotic father's farm his entire childhood. Much later Henry physically attacks adults as well that try to stop his attacks on the Losers. Shoved a grown man to the ground and intimidated the baker into retreating back into his shop after the baker tried to help Eddie when Henry beats Eddie up and breaks his arm alongside his friends as revenge for the rockfight and tried to stab an old woman attempting to help Beverly as Henry, Belch and Victor just going along in the attack under Its spell and fear. Henry feared nothing save for It and his crazy father. Even if Mr. Casey could physically overpower Henry, Henry would give him a fight no doubt and or probably even stab/kill Mr. Casey or try to then if not later at the full stage of his insanity under Its possession combined with the childhood trauma of Butch's abuse and corrupting, hate filled influence.

Bill was my friend Chris’s big brother from the big brothers program in Hollywood. He was a great big brother to Chris and also a huge role model for the neighbor hood kids from his actions on adventures with us. He would of gone further in the business but he didn’t do drugs and has very high principles which is why he hasn’t risen to the top in his new profession- he is too honest

@@jeffw8218 no one else, not EVEN James Patterson can write and carry on the eerie thrillers and horror stories like Stephen King. Those surprise endings, the gore, and the twists, COME ON MAN! Those can only come natural to writers, he's amazing. You're just too focused on the bullies and their fates toward the end, to me those are just amazing additions. To add lib for a bit; the bullies from Carrie should be an epiphany for actual to be careful and change themselves otherwise 🌊⚡🔥⚰️ Period
