The phone is a weapon. Technology is a dead end street. All technology comes from alien intelligence that I heard is actually quite "old". It's not sophisticated. I loved this movie so much that I was going to buy a hoodie with the obey logo and an Alien face on the front of it. I then realised that I was going against the whole point of the movie about hyper consumerism and materialism and buying products that we don't need. It also opened my eyes to how pointless it is to buy designer clothing brands so I've switched to buying regular clothes that are comfortable and are much cheaper.

It's much deeper than that... The Earth is a prison planet where our souls were tricked to come here. Now we're trapped in a reincarnation loop where our emotions are used as food for the Archons. Our souls aren't originally from here. The people we can't talk about aka the Globalist scums somehow made deals with these Archons to make the plebs suffer. In return, they have the authority to control the plebs. They're like the prison guards but way worse...

There’s no way someone could make a red pill movie like this and still fall for the Democrat/ republican trap. Not sure what team this guys on but I think it’s the good one and he just had to lie in these interviews for his own safety

Great comment and I totally agree but with all that being said this global elite 2 tier totalitarian society they are bringing in under the cover of covid-19 is being brought in using the "woke" extreme far left....it's the only way it's even possible.

They Live should be made into a video game.

And the main theme song should be life styles of the rich and the famous by good charlotte. Imagine four people walking down the streets wearing the glasses, shooting up every alien they see and that song plays over.

Right, I like how he said that Reganomics are bad and then turns around and says he loves Capitalism, sorry you can't have it both ways Mr. Carpenter

Donald You think he's wrong about the rich bastards who program you through the conservative corporate media that went crazy at the time Carpenter was making this film because Reagan deregulated the communications industry.

I never agreed with John Carpenter politically but he's on point here on so many issues especially with elitistism and this film has aged considerably well and it's on point with what's going on today
