In my opinion, Christine was the heart, soul, n epitome of Fleetwood Mac. Her songwriting skills were topnotch, n her voice n presence were a total blessing to Fleetwood Mac. Her independent music was equally awesome. She will forever be remembered for her numerous skills, talents, n awesome abilities, especially vocally n as a lyricist, although all aspects within the music industry. 🎶 🎵 ✌️

I loved how Christine and Stevie always supported each other. If there was any jealousy it never showed. They had a genuine friendship.

I worked as security for FM, from ‘76 to ‘84, and saw a lot of behind the scenes drama. John was utterly shattered by Christine’s infidelity, and it negatively impacted the whole group. I’m bound by an NDA, that prevents me from sharing certain details, but I can tell you the everyone in the group, were none too happy with Christine, and the fractures were clear.

I have to say she had more talent and class than any other woman in the band. She is my personal favorite. Just" Perfect", musically.

REALLY... is that a jab at Stevie Nicks sounds as if; O'my !!! all of the members of FM had/ brought their very own talent/ drama to the band through the years n 2gether is how/ why FM has n become the success that they have... 2gether they were MAGICAL 👍

All her talents will be missed, not just by the band, but also by the audiences of Fleetwood Mac.

Christine McVie made a duet album with bandmate Lindsey Buckingham in 2017. Mick Fleetwood and John McVie played on the album as well. It is basically a Fleetwood Mac album without the Stevie Nicks element. A great work and a must listen!

Christine was truly a lady and a beautiful one at that. Her heart encompassed her soul which allowed her to demonstrate her musical vocals that were without question 'beautiful'.The love which she shown others is truly a testament of her soul that magnified her music. We are certain that her status is now in the Kingdom of heaven where we shall meet. Keep the faith, everything else is immaterial. Love Christine. ♥♥♥♥

The pressure-cooker that must have been Fleetwood Mac during that period in the mid-seventies when all the craziness was happening produced some great music. And I wonder if they would all agree (if Christine was still living) to go through it all again in order to make that music?

Christine and Lindsey were the main reason for the popular success of the band. That powerhouse was backed up by the excellence of the rest of the band.

I always admired her work and voice. I still do. But, as so often happens with successful musicians, the music and music lifestyle takes a terrible toll on rest of their life’s.

To be fair, it should be noted that John cheated on Christine first with various groupies. Christine was an incredible songwriter and singer and had a successful musical career prior to joining Fleetwood Mac at the band's request after they lost their keyboard player.
@davidgibbs381Ай бұрын
Correction needed - Christine came on board after Peter Green, founder & guitarist, left the band. Christine was the first keyboardist in the band as there were 3 guitarists before she joined in 1970.
