You can really see how much everyone enjoyed performing this song. They definitely had a blast singing this one leads, backgrounds, and band. One of my favorite parts from the entire celebration. Vienna was a great show overall.

OMGGGG, The original Muses performing live with the original Hercules composer! THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME, they sound just as amazing as they did 26 years ago. Hercules is one of my favorite Disney films and I still listen to the soundtrack to this day. I love how they decided to go with a gospel score for the movie since gospel is the music of the Gods, and how Disney let each woman have a say in how their animated characters should appear on screen. Also, fun fact, Luther Vandross' backup singers were part of the choir that provided the backup vocals for the movie.

I BEG for a re edit. I couldn’t hear the explosive high notes of individual muses because the background was too noisy… maybe increase the volume of the muses a TINY bit (because nobody’s gonna-not-hear the wonderful background singers) I just BEG to hear the muses a bit more clearer. I got frustrated when I couldn’t hear the high note of “Herc is a HEROOOOO-yes indeed” because the back up is too loud.

You’re correct. Part of it is “unity” within the group of singers. They are talented individuals vocally, a lot of them don’t have that “Gospel tone”. You can get every note correct, but still lack the tone and the energy of the song. That’s kind of what happened here.
