I'm with you...I began watching Amos N Andy when I was four or five years of age. The show was funny then and today, after over 65+ years latter, to me,, they are still funny. I never have seen any thing raciest about this show. Racism is only in the heart and eyes of the beholder!

There's no television show today, that can even come close to the timing and brilliance, of these talented Actors, nor will their be in the future. It's very unfortunate that the NAACP, put these wonderful people out of work, for simply earning a living and "ACTING" in a Comedy Show. May they all Rest In Eternal Peace..!!

You're still not safe after you get married. In fact that's probably even worse. There's endless cases of wives divorcing their husbands right after he's paid off her student loan debt just to name one. Then on top of it she can hit you with alimony, child support, etc.

I think the old boyfriend should have paid for the dental work. Andy wouldn't have done this if he was not going to marry the woman. The old boyfriend received the benefit of this and if she did not this at this time she sure would eventually. Anyway I hope they would have a happy honeymoon.
@johnbecker92426 жыл бұрын
joe - this is the type of case you see on Judge Judy. It would be the honorable thing for the new fiancé to pay, but the burden would fall on the woman. Andy paid for the dental work in anticipation of marrying the girl. If she was gainfully employed, I believe the judge would make her pay him back.
