Interesting concept, I’d need to use different outer fabrics, or coordinating zip colors, to remember which compartment my items are in.

Im a beginner for some time now. I wish i could cut fabric and iron so crisp like you. Sometimes, my bags are a hot mess. I tell everyone i dont consider me sewing anything, but i sure can put some thread thru some fabric. I tell you, if i can do somewhat of this bag and make it useful, i will tell people, "Im a sewer" 😆 love your videos. Thank you for sharing with us.

I recently made my first ever bag watching your tutorial;Giant utility box bag / Dopp style ; I created a sheet of fabric using 2” denim squares. I reduced the size a couple inches both sides from your measurements. Start, watch, stop, sew, over and over ,,until the point where I had a twisted bundle of fabric before me at which point I said to myself THIS CANNOT BE RIGHT BRENDA😮next I thought well I may have to take it apart and make a bunch of denim coasters. Taking a deep breath I began to turn this thick wad of fabric and wala! Tears came rushing out of my eyes. There was the most wonderful thing I’ve ever sewn 😍 I thank you so much Christine for the excellent tutorial. My grandson loves it. Now you’ve given me the confidence to try even this 4 compartment bag,,,maybe 😉 You are appreciated 👏👏🌻🌻🦋

Cute bag! For myself, I would need to use something to differentiate the pockets, such as different-colored zippers or zipper pulls, or maybe different fabrics for each section. Not sure of how that would work, but I would go nutty trying to search through each section when trying to find a certain item, without some visible cues. I might even add a longer strap to make it a shoulder-carry bag. I love your patient explanations and new ideas, Christine!

I then knew my experience or pay grade wasn’t up to the same expertise as yours Christine😊 I’m still working on yesterdays blog but of course I’ve made an error already only that I’m using a stripped fabric and wanted the strip going vertically but I managed to get it horizontal, which increases the difficulty (for me) in getting the black webbing straight! Toward beginning of video Christine included a cutting chart listing all measurements in both metric and imperial. You can pause video, take a screenshot, and print the info. Wasn’t that nice of her?! ❤ HTHs
