@milissa I'm 71 and understand You putting up a Christmas Tree for Yourself, I do also. My Husband doesn't get the thrill of putting up a Christmas Tree. But that doesn't Discourage me. I've had a Christmas Tree and Decorations all my life. I don't have to have Christmas gifts under our Christmas tree. Every Day is a gift to me. I noticed one of your loops was a little wrinkled. You can iron it while still on the swag using a curling iron. I’ve been using this method to refresh bows I’ve stored way. No taking bows apart to iron. Yippee!

My holiday theme is always flowing things stuck in my tree, feather balla, red berries, birds. Flowers. No bulbs at all, except for tiny ones that were my mom and dads, who are now deceased. Memories for me at Christmas time. It was their favorite holiday.

I love the peacock colors. I'm doing one of my trees in cobalt blue, bright gold, a berry burgundy color. I mixed paints to create the color myself because I couldn't find what I wanted. It's a medium burgundy purplish shade. Not a deep wine burgundy. I also had to create my own teal color because I wanted a blackish dark green teal color, not the blue turquoise teal color that I always see on the peacock trees. I'm doing those colors with a more religious theme instead of a peacock theme. I'm using the purplish burgundy to represent the Scarlotte purple robe of Jesus.

My theme this year is Winter Wonderland. I'm using all white, silver, gold, crystal and light metallics. The entire first floor will not have a bit of red. What do you know, my orange Christmas tree just got delivered.❤ I plan on making a mannequin for my Den / reading wine room. The colors are orange, white and gold. Love all of these. I been making wreath for my home, several people has seen it and love them. They have asked me was I going to sell any, and my better half has made a statement of selling some; but at this time I am still learning and might start selling in the near future. The front door is absolutely gorgeous, The regal look of the peacock colors are outstanding. You always make the most beautiful arrangements, wreaths, swags, lanterns table-scapes and of course trees. Hope you made it by Home Goods in Chula Vista recently they had so much blue and white, I immediately thought of you when I walked int their door.
