I remember December 2015 being the mildest on record. I had aphids on some of my plants in the garden, which were still growing. The winter came out the mildest on record CET wise, even though January and February weren't so mild, just slightly above average.

We actually had white Christmas in 1990 and 99 in Ireland and 2002

here last thursday we had rain on the south coast of cork while where my sister live about 30 miles north cork they had loads of snow
