Yo just read the actual statement and stop listening to all the click bait commentary and divisive nonsense. Statement says you can't bless gay marriages, you can't do anything that might make people think the church is blessing gay marriages. It further says that you're not to bless the relationship but can bless INDIVIDUALS who find themselves in such a relationship. In other words, if a sinner approaches the church and asks for a blessing you can give it to that person even if they're in a same sex relationship. Anyone going around saying that the Pope said any more than that is either intentionally lying or just ignorant of the facts

It's great to get the gift of Christmas in the depths of winter, just after the winter solstice. Southern hemisphere residents may not appreciate this as much. That said, one persons extreme heat can be another persons darkness. In times gone by, people have suffered in winter with harvests running out, as people have suffered in summer with water running out. So it can be seen as a rebirth on all counts.

Pray the complete Marian Psalter, the full Rosary, every day. Her heart will triumph and lead the way, will turn us away from our constant licking of our own wounds, the wounds of the Catholic Church, the wounds of the world. Raise HER up, as God Almighty has, this Christmas. Meditate on the Madonna and Child. They are Light, Joy, Courage. They are Truth and proof of God’s love.
