Hi Brenda, greetings again from Toronto. I hope you are well in this new year. That’s quite a list! Of particular interest are Silver in the Wood, Ghost in the Throat and God of the Woods. If you are interested, Syn from ‘Syn’s Book Nook’ devotes a whole video to God of the Woods. For Christmas, I splurged and bought myself: Trudi Canavan’s Black Magician trilogy Patricia A McKillip’s Riddle Master trilogy Brian Lumley’s last horror collection The Best of the Rest Karl Edward Wagner’s horror collection In a Lonely Place That’s it. Good reading to you!

Hi Andrew! I'm reading God of the Woods right now...almost done...I'm really enjoying it, beautifully written. I havent heard of some of those authors. I will have to look them up. Books are the best gift! Even to ourselves 🤣 I remember you mentioning Brian Lumley to me. Have you started reading any of those yet?

@@reading_by_myshelf Hi Brenda. I’m just finishing a library book, JH Markert’s The Nightmare Man (excellent!). I will probably get into Lumley’s and Wagner’s short story collections next. I have cognitive function disabilities due to depression so I have to be in the right frame of mind to tackle something as daunting as trilogies; I’m not sure when I will get to them. I’m glad you’re enjoying God of the Woods. I may have to save up and buy a copy; there are 671 holds at the Toronto Public Library! What is your next book choice? Have a great day.
