Christmas Cavaliers: A Fire Emblem Story

The most wonderful time of the year is coming around and in honor of Christmas, what better way then to do a video on the Christmas Cavaliers of Fire Emblem? In this video I do a brief overview of who I believe are the Christmas Cavaliers in each game of the series!

rip Kain and Alva. The forgotten christmas cav duo of Thracia776. The only thing that's going for Kain is his official art. his pose goes so hard. Whenever I mention Kain I have the obligation to recommend to check out his official art.

No wonder they're forgotten. Alva quite literally only has his death/escape quotes, and Cain has barely better. Happy to see someone else remember them though, recently got pretty attached.

One comment on FE6: maybe my memory is just bad, but don't Allen and Lance both have D Lances and E Swords?

Oh my, what a mishap on my part, you are correct! I guess i was so used to seeing the sword guy carrying around lance E that I just assumed Alen was that. Thank you for pointing that out!

One of the classic archetypes of fire emblem, and I sure like them. It's always fun to charge at the enemy with them. One fun detail is that despite Oscar and kieran being cavaliers, they start locked to a single type, and kieran innovating as an axe wielder

missed opportunity at the start of the video to rhyme year with Christmas cavalier. The Christmas rhyme was right there. "We were on the verge of greatness, we were this close."

This is a fair take, they are magical counterparts to the physical ones on Alm's route, but I albeit Boey is green I just never saw Mae as red tbh, but I definitely can see it there. The stat spread is there as well

But literally the joke is that abel has better strength growth and cain speed and skill growth and is more apparent in the FE3 version which cain has like 30% growth on strength

Three Houses, and the hidden talents always gives me a headache... You have some characters, who have excellent ones, like Lysithea having a way to do magic damage when you exhaust her spells through swords. And then there are some that are terrible, like Felix's Reason. He has such an abysmal magic growth, and such a lackluster spell selection, that foregoing the utility of Mortal Savant, for the reliability of Astra on Sword Master is always the play.

in my head, Felix and Sylvain are kind of 3H replacement for the Christmas Cav trope due to their opposite personalities and their opposite hair colors (orange and blue) I guess you could make an argument for Lorenz and Leonie being the Cav duo too as they're both Cavaliers and are in the same class, and while not direct opposites, orange and purple don't mix well either
