Our tradition is my husband reads Luke 2 KJV before we open presents, once a s family and again when my Grandson comes over! I want him to ALWAYS know and remember that we celebrate Christmas because Jesus was born and there would be no need for the holiday if he hadn’t come to save us. Everything is so beautiful. I have been watching videos and trees to get an idea here and there. I am adding one tree this year and maybe 1 more!😉

I absolutely love yalls tradition of throwing Jesus a Birthday party! That is so special! We have many traditions, but one of my favorites I started with my husband (we actually started the year we got engaged) is picking out an ornament for the year! Each one symbolizes something about our year. I love seeing our ornaments every year and reminiscing on years past! Christmas is such a magical time! Your home is beautiful, Amy! Christmas Eve we have family over for finger foods and then read about the birth of Jesus. We sing Christmas carols some times and if there are little ones there we read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. When I was little my Grandmother would recite this by memory. She did this until she was 80 so my children got to enjoy this too. I will continue this tradition when I have grandchildren some day. Your decor is beautiful as always.

We go to our church’s Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve. We also go to my in laws afterwards to eat (many times our Pastors family joins us for dinner) and then just before we open presents we listen to my Father-in-law read Luke 2. Very special memories!

Hiya Amy 🙋🏼‍♀️.our family Christmas tradition is when my son visited Santa we would then go buy a bauble for the Christmas tree that was his special bauble .he’s now 23 and although he’s not been to see Santa for many years we still have gone for a Christmas hot chocolate or lunch and shop for a special bauble.so this year he has his our Christmas tree in his and his girlfriends home so all the special baubles are going to be put on their Christmas tree .his girlfriend loves this tradition I’ve started and this year we all went Christmas “special bauble shopping”.❤️👍🏻god bless you and your family stay safe .🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

My husband is Italian so we always to Eve of the Seven Fishes. My mother-in-law me how to make homemade turkey raviolis from the thanksgiving turkey. Her and I did those the day after Thanksgiving. I did it for a long time after she passed, but with some arthritis in my hands it is hard to do. But we still have cheese ravioli's Christmas day.
