We decorated the weekend of Thanksgiving. My fiancé tried to fight it and say no, not until December 1st. I won lol. I survived breast cancer this year I can decorate and celebrate when I want! After Our Thanksgiving meal he randomly brought out the Christmas tree and said let’s do this. 🌲

Suggestion for decorating your hutch: Put the short And less breakable decorations on lower shelf so that they can be fully visible by taller people. Put the taller and breakable items on the higher shelves. They will be able to be seen by everyone especially if you make it a family tradition to lift the kids up to see and talk about the decorations. Love you channel and never stop being the wonderful crazy person you are.

Just found your vlog - after seeing your "new empty beach house", I decided to go back and check out your "old digs". Love Christmas, so here I ended up just over a year after :) You crack me up! So enjoyed spending time with you and your family at the beach - what a beautiful setting for your photos. Little Meredith is such a character! when your kids first hit the beach and were sliding, sitting in the sand I felt like saying, "No kids! You'll get dirty for your photos!" Then I realized the sand is (a very beautiful) white! No problem, and it can easily be brushed off if needed. Watching your family enjoying the beach gave me pure joy! Love to you all.

wow good job on a long video shoot and edit! Love your content always and the house looks great, the kids and you grownups looked great and the photos are adorable. The video of them partying at the beach in their photo clothes might have some screen shot gems as well when you get time (prob after xmas lol). Meredith looked adorable as heck and I love the scowl and point photo. That's going to be going down in history. lol. She's so cute as are all the kiddos. Wentworth dancing with the snowman and then kicking it was funny too. Scoundrel is a perfect name for them. The best was the one second of Run DMC Christmas in Hollis playing while they all are unloading xmas stuff from the shed. lol. So funny. I have to put up my tree still. It's upright (artificial tree) and needs all the branches to be fluffed and decorated. I did the splaying of the trinkets and treasures part already and have similar moments of "does this go together?" then "oh well it works" and the occasional happy moment when something comes together. That's the beauty of having things that catch your eye though is having only things you enjoy looking at. The stocking matching moment I know was like the play the brass band music in the background moment. I have two matching stockings and one that's close in color so it works. lol. They never got personalized but we're adults so no need lol. Wish we had a photo board to share viewer xmas decor once it's up. I know there would be some gems! Merry festive Christmas season.

So I keep the tags on everything too, drives my husband nuts. He was helping me decorate this year and he took the tags off of several ornaments. I also had a picture I hung up and never took the cardboard off and my husband was waiting to see how long it took me to take it off. Well I never did, but his mom came by one day and took it off lol.
