I don’t keep Xmas, or mainstream holidays, but instead I embrace the whole of each season for a full three months. Being in balance with nature is essential to being grounded in a world full of chaos. I do keep Messiah’s birthday but I believe it to fall in line with the feast days found in Scripture. I try to make my space into a winter wonderland and just a few plastic icicles and snowflakes from Dollar Tree and lots of tiny warm white lights can transform any area! I, too, use all of my milk glass vases and such to display greenery or red berries. I make a new snowman of some sort every year and can’t wait to do so this year. A few years ago I made a cowboy snowman and my son adopted him! He looks like a fancy cowboy and not rough looking. I love the touches of whimsy too, to make my heart smile! You gave me great ideas and I am off the write them down before I forget! Sending you love and blessings!❤❄️❤

The rocking horse would be cute styled in a sleigh horse style with leather harness and bells. Forty-five years ago, my father hand painted a large nativity set. It’s the focal point of our entry table. You’ve inspired me to add some trees this year to its vignette. Thank you Rachel for your sweet presentation and words about our Savior.

Oh my goodness such wonderful treasures! I love the carved white trees. I have one of those dancing ornaments as well lol. I’ve been thinking of pulling out my childhood toys, yes I still have several at least 60 yrs old 😬 and filling the cradle with some of them. I decided to pull out all the vintage toys and ornaments instead of having them packed up, life is too short. I have my grandmothers nativity that she hand painted that I also display every year. I thrift all year, and I look at most containers as possible tree stands, risers or containers for my endless collection of trees. Trees and deer and Besnickles are my thing. I’m going to thrift to see if I can find some white Danish items, live the idea of stars ⭐️ in front of my fireplace, I love Woden toy ornaments, have a couple, this year is woodland theme , I change every year sand have just finished China hutch .. wish we could share photos of your inspirational advice.. loved the funny blooper 😅!
