This was a great video with some terrific options for decorating that mantle a bit differently! I have always had the garland laying flat on the mantle in the past but I now plan to change that up this year! Also, I feel a little foolish to admit that I have adjusted and readjusted and readjusted again that garland trying to get it centered! Your tip for finding the centre makes perfect sense and getting it even this year will be a breeze! That's why we love you Rebecca, you make the hard things easy!

The garlands are so beautiful and the mantels as well! I always decorate my mantel and like to do something completely different every year. I purchased some cranberry red and neutral tan ornaments that look vintage and cranberry velvet ribbon. I typically stay away from the traditional reds and greens but felt drawn to these ornaments. I found a vintage Santa photo that I will get enlarged and put it in an antique frame. I'm thinking of placing my two 6 foot slender trees on either side of the mantel. That's as far as I've gotten in terms of thinking this through.
