Merry Christmas Paul and Jason from boxing day in Australia. I made a "beef" wellington and was determined to have a hot Christmas lunch. I made a hot lunch and sweated through the 30 degree day, but I did it, and it was delicious

That looks so good.i had my christmas dinner on my own but with my parents n son eating their death food at the table..i would love a completely vegan christmas but they wont even do a nutroast..i did the veg n made fresh roast potatoes n parsnips..was lovely but thats as far as theyd go ..the omv trifle was nice.my mum had some to be sociable.of course it was too sweet ..i just wish it could just be enjoyed.and i just kept thinking of the poor turkey ..even my dad commented more people are becoming vegan.joined u guys last year ..love this touch ..so noones alone.thankyou ❤

We never ate parsnips or turnips at home and I still don't eat through choice, but would if they were served up to me. Asparagus is really the only veg that I don't like. Such a strange looking thing and odd texture!

I know this is a bit late…try cooking the potatoes and parsnips or carrots together for a great mash. For my husband and I cook one large russet and 2 parsnips or 2 large carrots for the mash. Now I’m craving mashed potatoes. Happy Holidays to you, 2024.

The number joining you was INCREDIBLE! Has it increased year by year? I was so glad that my friend Sarah was able to join. She's had a truly awful year and was on her own for the first time ever. She is a down to earth vegan too, supported me on my vegan journey, and a truly beautiful human. I knew she'd belong here, and I really appreciate you welcoming her when she arrived at the live (and me too) 🙏🌱🥰 She's also a Lancashire girl ❤
