Great story. Very inspiring Christmas romance. I absolutely love this series and this is a wonderful addition. Both Gilbert and Summer are immediately attracted to each other, but decide to definitely not give in to the physical aspect before marriage. I love their commitment and character that guide them. The conversations between them are especially inspiring. Summer’s Christmas dream has always been being part of a large family. Gilbert can certainly provide that.

Loved this sweet and inspirational story by Jessie Gussman. Jay always does such a wonderful job of narrating in a way that draws the listener into the story with his voice acting skills. It always amazes me at the number of characters he is able to bring to life. Thank you so much to both the author, Jessie Gussman, and to Jay our fabulous narrator!❤

This was a sweet, Christmassy romance. We met Gilbert at the beginning of this series and then went through grief with him and his kids as his wife died of cancer. Coming to this book we get a different perspective on things a bit and see life go forward. There are three sweet kiddos who love their equine therapy lessons and their counselor. Our heroine is losing her childhood home and trusting that God will provide His best for her. This was a Christian, small town romance with plenty of family, friends, and faith. It was so good to sink back into a full length novel by Gussman. Shorts can be a fun read, but I adore the depth in these.

Thank you, Michaela! I'm always so amazed at just how much depth Jessie is able to write into her stories. By the end of a series, I always feel like I know all the characters so well!

After losing his wife to cancer, Gilbert McBride had to rebuild his business and is now ready to purchase a home for him and his children. Since they have been doing equine therapy he decides a farm where they can have horses would be perfect. Unfortunately, the farm he finds in the very one where they were taking therapy. After he buys it he discovers, the former owner, Summer has had to sell her horses and plans to relocate and change jobs. He finds he is attracted to her and makes her an offer to continue her equine therapy at his farm and live there also. This is definitely an uplifting and interesting book about second chances, trust, and finding your way in life.
