The Dukha, Tsaatan are a small Tuvan community of semi-nomadic reindeer herders living in Khuvsgul, the northernmost province of Mongolia. The name Tsaatan, which means ‘those who have reindeer’ in the Mongolian language, were originally Tuvinian reindeer herders. There about 400 Dukha people of 70-80 families live in communities, usually a group of two to seven households.

My father was born on Christmas, and passed away on Christmas. He was 72. It's never been the same for me either. My mom has passed too, so I know how it feels to be without them. @@TripleXXXLady-im5it Aww....thank you for your sweet reply!! Nobody is ever the same after their relatives pass on. My parents were very close to each other. My Dad said to me, "Your Mother was the ONLY woman for me......I'll never marry again!!" He looked after her when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's (in her mid 59's) and had to be admitted to the Nursing Home in 2003. He would sing to her, play his guitar and mandolin for her or even just sit and talk to her while holding her hand. They have been holding hands since they were reunited. God Bless You and your family.

Шалаши как индейские вигвамы, у нас раньше в чай тож клали мясцо с косточки, жирняцкий чай получался, а ещё в уже сваренный чай горячий добавляют - шуурмыг, обжаренные жиринки, вкуснятина, бууз ихний я бы слопал штук где-то немало, пока смотрел чет тож захотелось)), а малые детки прикольные, особенно когда пешочком идут, как маленькие медвежонки)) сян сяяхн бяяцхатн ! Жизнь хоть и чуток трудновата, зато чиста и благородна!

We learn from watching our elders and keep the traditions alive. In western society many older people are put away in homes for the old. In my culture we kept them with us and took responsibility for them, they on the other hand were responsible for the children while the parents worked. Not not only parents, but uncles and aunts childless or not were treated the same way with respect. Today, however money has become the biggest and now it is becoming increasingly impossible.
