Every spring, in the HOVSGOL lake region located in northern Mongolia, MINJBAYAR and his family, the last of the DARKHAD nomads, begin a perilous transhumance on a frozen river.

We live in Russia (Buryad rep.) near the mongolian border. Our language is very close to mongolian language. Very many thanks for this film. I found here how our old parents lived about 150 years ago. Now we live in modern Russia, all people have a good education and so on, so we do not know how live in the wild nature. Sometimes we connect with mongol people because we have common language, religion, traditions, dresses... Very interesting film.

@@user-ki5ov8nw6k In Mongolia we have Buryats as well. Actually Buryats are Mongols, you speak one of many different dialects of the Mongolian language. I'm sure herders in the countryside in Buryatia have very similar lifestyle as Mongolian herders do.

The total poor??? You meant the people work out of the capital's litter stock? An unemployment is occured the capital's population because of thick crowdness of the citizens:the people from the provinces are coming and coming to the capital every year especially in Autumn. They wanted a brighter educated life for their children. That's normal. Our nomadic lives in the provinces are much richer than in the capital. The nomads have their "alive " gold/treasure:theie herds in 5 types - horses,goats,sheep,cows and camels. In the Northern part of our country - he yacks/hinags. We,the Mongolians have over 70+ millions herds. It's a hard work,but it's a worth. And the nomads used to it for years keeping the traditions of our greats.

Vraiment MERCI pour tous ces documentaires des Routes de l'Impossible! Des histoires humaines superbes, des images à couper le souffle, des prises de vues audacieuses et artistiques, une bande son adaptée. Je ne peux m'empêcher de penser à toute cette équipe de cameramen et preneurs de son, à toute la logistique que l'on ne voit pas, et qui aux cotés des des routiers de l'impossible, prennent aussi tous les risques pour nous rapporter ces témoignages directs et sans filtre, qui donne la parole aux citoyens croisés sur les routes. C'est riche d'enseignements. Cela donne envie de voyager et d'aller à la rencontre de ces personnes et de ces cultures. Et ça donne à réfléchir à nous autres, qui nous plaignons souvent...

Felicitări pentru film ! Este extraordinar ce fac acești oameni nomazi ,se lupta să trăiască împreună cu animalele lor sacre ! Sunt niste supraviețuitor ale acestor ținuturi aspre ! Acum îmi dau seama de ce au cucerit și ocupat Europa hoardele lui Gingis-Han ,din cauza lipsei hranei și modului lor de a trai foarte greu in acele ținuturi ! Nevoia ia împins către Europa acelor vremuri ! Era o lupta pe viață și pe moarte ! Acești oameni sunt căliti de natura aspră in care trăiesc !

Скотоводы Северной Монголии живут в не загаженной цивилизацией территории, где озера и реки богатые рыбой, очень развито животноводство, чистые экологические продукты, ихние головы не забиты гнилой политикой это по истине счастливые люди, живущие, так, как жили ихние предки

Как здорово что они кочевники,жизнь,природа меняется,это же здорово.А мы в благоустроенных квартирах,в четырех стенах и диван,кресло.Выйдешь на улицу ,там толпа,шум,треск.Спасибо что задумали такую командировку.

Мужики, это реально так! Монголы щас просто ассы, вот так в одиночку запросто снимают с уазика коробку, причем посреди поля. Секут во всех тонкостях наших машин. В е это видел, подтверждаю. Жизнь то всему учит.

Монголы покупают ваших драндулетов не из-за того что они хорошего качество машины. Просто в таких полевых условиях хороших дорогих машин жалко, а уазы стоит недорого их не жалко, по больщому счету это не машина а болт в ведре..

En général, dès qu'il y'a une coupure de courant ou une légère pénurie d'un produit de beauté, les gens des villes commencent à manifester leur mécontentement, alors que là, les gens affrontent les effets parfois désastreux de la nature, le grand froid sans aucun chauffage, et la sècheresse sans moyens matériel de climatisation, mais ils vivent leur vie sans se plaindre et avec le sourire.

Oui, moi le premier ..Imagine, si je n'ai plus internet, la télé, etc suite à une coupure ? c'est la catastrophe ...( j'exagère un peu )...mais il est vrai qu'il ne faut pas que ça dure trop longtemps..Et pourtant quand j'étais " gamin "dans les années 60, on n'avait rien à la maison ( pas de télé, pas le téléphone, etc etc? simplement la radio )..Et j'ai passé une super jeunesse en fait dans mon vilage..Mais bon on était tous un peu pareil..Il est vrai que maintenant, je n'aurais pas envie de revenir en arrière !! La preuve je suis sur Internet, et c'est quand m^me génial..C'est leur vie et on ne peut pas comparer ou regarder cela avec une vision " d'Occidental "..

Special thanks to the veteran nomad guest speakers. Sharing personal information/experiences pertaining to their daily life activities. Unfortunately for those 350K herders living in abject poverty. Due to the extreme cold snap( not Global warming) their future looks very bleak -!!!. 😢. Enjoyable watching 👀 all the livestock goat breeders/herders traveling across the ice.😲. Plus ça va plus ça ressemble à BFM .. comment faire du suspense avec rien 😂 et pour info un joint de culasse dans une boîte de vitesse ça n'existe pas les gas.. c'est dans l'énoncé joint de "culasse" faites un minimum de vérification avant de posté... Sinon c'est toujours intéressant de voir le reste du monde merci

Какие молодцы. Своеобразный уклад жизни, но как трепетно они относятся к природе. Она для них - "Мать". Усердный труд дает им возможность радоваться жизни и получать удовольствия. Да, труд не легкий, но зато результативный. Создатель учит: если не работаешь, то и не ешь. Из за греха Адама, человечеству приходится тяжело трудиться, а так же стареть и умирать. Но скоро на землю придет Царство Бога (Матфея 6:10), и тогда: "Бог вытрет слезы с их глаз и смерти больше не будет, ни скорби, ни рыданий, ни боли больше не будет". А все ли получат возможность жить в тех условиях?
