We've always loved thrifting for our vintage MCM furniture, lighting, dishes and accessories to use and decorate our home since 2005. Our home is constantly changing as we find more vintage items at antique and thrift stores in MN and WI. We are very GRATEFUL for your kind support and thoughtful messages!

That was such fun...that camel was too funny. For some reason he’s the one who got my giggles going...great job Norm, we live your windows! I really enjoyed seeing those old wind-up toys. I used my dad's 5 foot Santa in my classroom for a few years. When I quit teaching to have my first son, I left it at the school in the storage room. A teacher walked into that room without the light on and had a scare thinking that it was a man in there., so she had it thrown out. I wished many times that I had brought it home when I left.

I always enjoy the window displays, so creative and fun. Thank you for showing us the wind up toy movements. Just fabulous. I have a woodland animal theme tree and this year I set up a ‘base camp’ of hand felted bears using lace for snow complete with dens, logs, and a green lace river. My grandfather and 3 brothers owned carnival rides in the early 1900s and took them to carnivals. Unfortunately the building they were stored in was hit by lightning in the 1930s and they had no insurance. My mom and her sisters enjoyed free rides until the fire.
