Christmas Home Tour - Christopher Hiedeman's Christmas Decorating - Historic 1898 Home Tour

Follow me on a holiday tour around our historic Victorian home as I share a close up look at my Christmas decorations! This year the kitchen features a gingerbread baking theme while the entry takes a step up from last year's simple staircase garland to a sophisticated sparkling display. The dining room features rich forest greens and golds while the fireplace room rests calmly in a simple, nostalgic Christmas feel with popcorn garlands & gingerbread cookies adorning the tree, and a wintery nativity display decorating the fireplace mantel. As tradition, the end of the video features a nighttime tour of all the Christmas lights inside and out set to calm, warm ambient music! As requested, I made the nighttime segment longer too!
Our home is furnished with a blend of new and vintage furniture & decorations as I enjoy decorating with exciting new finds and treasured antique décor from the past. Each year I try to incorporate current Christmas design trends with classic traditional Christmas decorating for a warm, inviting balance of new and familiar. From rustic to elegant, ribbon to ribbon-less, each one of my Christmas trees are decorated in different themes to hopefully spark some Christmas joy and inspiration to all who watch!
I've had so much fun this season decorating trees & mantels, working on fun Christmas projects & floral arrangements, and wanted to take the time to say a big THANK YOU to all of my wonderful subscribers & viewers! You all keep me excited to decorate each season with your likes & uplifting comments! I'm grateful for each and every one of you and want to wish you a healthy happy Christmas filled with warm memories & fun traditions! The paint color in the kitchen is Behr brand "Clay". Unfortunately I don't know the main interior paint color as it was this color when we moved in

You see my husband has been very sick with COPD and extreame PTSD for three years now, and I feel very depressed and heartbroken , that our lives have come to a halt. Hello from Swansea in the UK. I love the two plates on your kitchen wall above your tea, coffee and cocoa bar. I have a very similar plate from W H Grindley in Staffordshire England which I inherited off my late Grandmother. I originally had two plates but due to a clumsy accident on my part one was broken. I was so sad when that happened. I wondered if your plates were from the same company. It would be amazing to think your two plates journeyed all the way from England to eventually reside on your kitchen wall in the USA. I live only about 100 miles from Staffordshire, a much shorter journey. You have a beautiful home and it was such a pleasure to watch your latest video. Your decorations are absolutely gorgeous.
