I love prims! So old timey! I love old things, bottles, jars, sad irons, crocks, etc.. So much thought went into a household. Organization was a must. Everything had a use and a place. I don't think people realize how hard people actually worked to have what they had! Men...a dollar a day in the saw mills! Women buying flour in the prettiest sacks...to be used for clothing of course! Scrubbing clothes on a wash board by hand! Making their own soap! Nothing went to waste. Thank you for the tour! It really touched my heart!

I'm so glad I have a smart TV so I can save your wonderful Vlogs. You are so lucky to experience all of these beautiful places. One thing I noticed in this video was the JC Penney old sack along with the feed sacks. I don't think I've ever seen one like that. Interesting!!! Wonder what it's original purpose was. Thank you Lori, I really hope to help spread this design style even further. It's so unique and can be so artistically gathered with special pieces. A mixture of family pieces and found / repurposed. As the budget allows, trade up for other pieces. I always think of the antiques style as being so much more than just a style of decorating, it's really a way of life.
