Christmas in Barbados has a different feel to it. Beautiful and downright real. Maya really showcase Xmas day in Barbados. We used to have a great experience of Xmas and New Year in Nigeria in the 70s and early 80s as well but now the country has gone to the dogs and pigs

Not according to the millions of Nigerians the world over who flew back home for christmas last week, and are in 3 day long parties and festivals in their hometowns as we speak.

Good on them and I wish them turns of Xmas and New years. 😃😃😃. My comments was time comparison between the late 60s/80s and whoever lived thru that period would sure know the nostalgic difference between then and now. Your millions of Nigerians abroad who flew home for the Xmas, certainly are loaded and surely it would be nice Xmas season for them but sure not millions of Nigeria at home. Ask your Nigerians abroad millions about their Xmas experience now and in the 70s. Endeavour to ask millions Nigerians at home about the Xmas now and in the 70s. Have a very blessed New Year

In an online interview posted on December 27, 2023, in Barbados, Linda Taglialatela, the United States Ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean States who is leaving office on January 1, 2024, states the following about Barbados: "The quality of life here is so much better than it is in the United States because people truly embrace living." Wode Maya and Miss Trudy, through their videos, are showing that Barbadians do embrace living. I'm sure that on Christmas day poor Barbadians, middle class Barbadians, and wealthy Barbadians were equally happy because there is something within Barbadians that brings us joy and causes us to live our best lives despite our circumstances. That's my opinion.

Lovely video. The Christmas in the park is a very good tradition. Such is a good tradition that motherland Africa should embrace & I’m glad that the Caribbean has been embraced by the African Union as the 6th region, according to what you’re telling us. I’m sure that having people in Christmas gear & walking around the Victoria falls in my country of Zambia would really look lovely. Great to see the 96 yrs old uncle & 86 yrs auntie going on strong.
