Your Mom is a trooper. St. Patricks is beautiful inside. We did a five day whirlwind tour of New York City in 2004. Lots of fun but don't care to go back. I found my great grandfathers name on one of the pillars on Ellis Island. Thank you for taking us along to see the beautiful Christmas sights.

Back in the 60's my aunt Alice would take me downtown Los Angeles and all the big stores windows were magical. Now most stores are long gone. Your mom is wonderful . Merry Christmas

Times Square was definitely a sensory overload 😂 my small town midwestern self would have never survived. The cathedral was my favorite part, it was just stunning! I am glad you all had a good time, thank you for sharing.

Thank you for the trip & window shopping . It's amazing all the things in NY. My town is so small you could fit it on a corner there I think LOL, so it's pretty spectacular to me ( I just don't know any better HAHA) . I hope you all got some well deserved rest & soaked your feet after all that walking , my goodness. The Zelda bag was SO ADORABLE! 💟I hope you all enjoy the wonderful noise of loved ones roaming about the house . That's is the most wonderful time of the year ;)

We were in NY in Oct 2008, what a fabulous city it is! The Korea Day Parade shut down 5th avenue so we could walk down the centre to Tiffanys. Thanks for sharing, so many memories popped up, MOMA, Hard Rock Cafe, a comedy show in Radio City Music Hall, etc. Hope your mum is enjoying her visit.

My son and family just got off cruise in New York and are spending 4-5 days in New York for Christmas. He sent me pictures of Rockerfeller square with tree and ice skating. Also, the buildings around Empire State bldg. I never been there so it was interesting to see where and my son & family are experiencing. Bless Mom for doing all that walking. Good to see those handsome boys enjoying themselves on family outing.

I have never been to NY City. This is the only way I'd ever see it. No desire to actually go there but it was fun to view it through you. I am shocked your mom walked so much. For her age she gets around really well. You all looked as if you were having fun. Didn't Scott go?

We took the path train from jersey city. I have a monthly garage pass across the street from the path train at journal square. It arrives at 33rd street abd greeley square which is one block down from Macy's. From there you go east 34th street to 5th Avenue and walk up 5th. At 58th you take a left to 6th Avenue and walk down to times Square (42nd) then back down to 33rd and greeley square, back on thr path train and parking garage.
