That was probably the wise decision, considering how cold it’s been! I too found myself questioning not going to Spain or Portugal a few times during this trip! 😅 Hope you enjoyed Porto!

...as usual, there was a lot of atmosphere in this video, and some information too - wonderful clip, Olive 🫒... yes, it was freezing, and overcrowded, but hey, what would one expect in Prague at pre-Christmas time?! 🎄🧚🌟 My Christmas is so different these years, living in the north of Scotland... I did a coast-line walk, admiring some spectacular rock formations (e.g. today I was at the 'Bow Fiddle Rock' - you can google it) - even the Edinburgh Market, closest to my home in that size category, was not calling me. I enjoy watching it, and it certainly triggers our eyes to shine, but it has lost a lot of attractiveness for me over the years... too commercial - why are we so much into the money game at that time? I'm quite happy to go into nature around the Winter solstice, and contemplate in a meditative way about life, and what I hope to achieve next year... Love has become a central value in my life - how can I love more, appreciate and respect all of life, and what life offers to me... how can I more deeply immerse myself into it and understand and value it more fully? These thoughts might sound quite serious, but they are not meant to suggest not having fun and indulge, but to give more attention to our inner lives, our souls journeys... how do we find a deeper sense of peace, love, joy and light within us? To me its a spiritual journey... exploring and finding out more about who I truly am... very introvert, but hey: its Winter - the perfect time for it... 😇🧘🌟

Thank you! 🎄💚 It was indeed expected to see the crowds and have that cold weather. 😅 Bow Fiddle Rock looks beautiful, I looked it up! 😍 I find myself somewhere in between enjoying a quieter time in nature and embracing a bit of the Christmas consumerism. I love the lively, colourful atmosphere and the joy of buying gifts. 🎁✨ On the Camino, I learned to appreciate both the peacefulness of nature, nourishing values that truly matter and taking time to look inward, as well as indulging in the conveniences of today's world. 🌿💭 I remember, while walking every day, I thought I could live like that forever, immersed in nature. But when I reached Leon, everything felt so fascinating... I was even emotional stepping into Zara! 😂 So, I guess I'm somewhere in between. I think I get to appreciate each more because of the other. 😊💖
