I was there for the Krampus run and it is really fun . The big Christmas market is the best I saw in Austria

Was at the Hellbrunn market to . On the 4th was their Krampus run and it was very fun . They even do a bit of a Krampus show in that one

I remember very well the Mirabell market and the Krampus parade from my time in Salzburg in 1972. Christmas in Salzburg is truly magical! Thank you for this video.

Hey!! I was in Salzburg the first week of December! I actually got a glass mug at Helbrunner with the ticket - and a 2Euro pfand - so you got jipped!! (I kept the mug too!!) I went specifically to Salzburg for the Krampus runs!

On Christmas Eve, we planned to take the steam train and do the walk between the 2 Silent Night villages. Unfortunately it was a miserable night and we skipped it, altho we saw it go by from our farm apartment in the suburb of Anthering.

@@HappytoWander One season, about 10 years ago I was traveling through the region and visited several Christmas Markets in Berlin, a couple in Frankfurt, and the big one in Munich. Then I went to Salzburg, and I never wanted to go home. Even during the day, it is amazing from the decorations to the crafts and foods. Truly a MUST visit Christmas Market.
